Romey 1878
With pleasure, I’m voting for big Michael Keane.
Tonsta
A lot to choose from, but went for Godfrey, so long out and that clearance right on half time was as good as a goal.
c1982
Would love to give it to Keane and Godfrey as their attitude was spot on and they were both solid after seeing so little football. Keane just pips it.
Wiggytop
Big Mick, it could so easily have been a banana skin game for him, ( and Godfrey and Patterson) solid and secured the win, having a team with confidence around him helps so much. Matt
I honestly don't know. Only listened to the first, watched the second. Garner was brilliant again but I guess it has to be between the 2 players who aren't apparently good enough. Going with Keane I think
Hafnia
Onana for me. Keane and Godfrey did well too. We do miss the stability of branthwaite and myko
StevO
Keane and Godfrey were both excellent and I’m very happy for them. That said, I thought Tarky was a powerhouse and kept the whole team organised and focused. Fantastic leadership from him tonight. c1982
Gwlad
Sean for having to change the team around and winning but Tarkowski, the leader on the pitch got my vote.
Btay
Keane - all the good bits about him on display today. Smart from Dyche to have him central of the three as well. Godfrey, Tarks & Onana all close as well. badaids and StevO
Cornish Steve
A real team performance led by a fearless captain (my MoTM).
London Blue
Went for Godfrey, with Patterson a very close second, his attacking threat was immense and defensively he got so much better as the game went on. Godfrey was just great, defensively a rock-solid tackling, great reading of the game, and that clearance was one of the best bit of defending that I have seen this season. Most importantly his pace and stamina we back to pre covid levels. Happy to see him in this team. To be honest the whole team was great so controlled and professional. badaids
could have been anyone, even Pickford for those couple of saves. Went for Garner, he was like a scrum half, constantly following the play, hustling, encouraging, hassling, blocking, keeping things ticking over. Palfy
Tarkowski, great performance and great to see a Captain with a voice who doesn’t allow the responsibility effect his game other than enhancing it.
RuffRob
Going for Godfrey to even the voting up between him and Keane. We all where a bit apprehesive seeing the pair of them named in the starting line up, both slotted in and played with the consistency and confidence of week in week out performers - massive credit to them both. Godfrey saw the danger and was on it at speed to produce that goal saving tackle at the end of the first half - I think that made all the difference in this game, Burnley had nothing positive to take from that first half. If that goal had gone in, you feel a total different second half will have taken place. Wiggytop
Boston Toffee
It's always a good signing when many players could have been man of match. When in past it would so and so.... I guess ( cause no one was worthy) Wiggytop
