Isaiah got a reaction from dunlopp9987 in Chelsea (Away) 16th December
Suspending the season until the end of the January transfer window seems the most responsible course of action to me.

You said "Bringing in Rafa was the start of the disruption."
Yeah sure okay we were all sunshine and champions league before he showed up.
You're fooling yourself if you think Rafa started this

Well we will sack another manager, hire another one and the circus continues.
There is literally fuck all Benetiz can do with this lot. Their captain bends one in front 18 yards on his weak foot, ours is completely inept at football and gives the ball away on halfway as the last man.
Absolutely dire.

Believe me this appointment isn’t working and won’t work. It is completely wrong on all accounts. I wasn’t bothered about him being an ex Kopite.
What I can clearly see though is it’s not working on and off the pitch and is highly highly unlikely ever too. The players look disinterested. It just shows how good a manager Ancelotti was that he had this group up the top end of the table virtually the whole season.
We are in serious trouble if this continues.

Holgate's attitude stinks. I can't stand him.

Can I even be arsed to go into this game with a full post? All the way home I had all these thoughts in my head of what to put in this thread but I don't think it's worth it and I'll just enjoy my curry instead.

No, it seems like the media are eager for clicks.

His interviews always get your attention. Very bright lad, driven and an asset to the club.

Half the problem with our club is sentimental bollocks..... Clapping kenwright for years despite poor ownership/ mismanagement, ex players getting jobs for the boys, managers getting leniency cos they are nice.
Rafa is a proper coach, he's not arsed about popularity like the ones who have their mates spinning shit at talksport (Bruce, Allardyce, pardew), doesn't try and win the journalists over.
I said a while back, he's exactly what the club and some fans need. A fresh no nonsense perspective.

I’m so proud that he’s a Blue. He’s just a sound bloke - much like Calvert-Lewin, he comes across so well in interviews and I’m delighted that he’s representing our club.

I thought he set us up brilliantly today, this team again showing so much fight and togetherness which we’ve missed since the days of David Moyes
Surely he is starting to win over the dissenters now? The job he is doing and the way he has us playing given all the injuries and financial restrictions we’ve had is nothing short of remarkable, even more so given the dross that was served up after the millions his predecessors had at their disposal

Got back from the game at 2.40am but it was worth the journey! Suffered all week mind with no voice and feeling knackered. After a dull first half it was a crazy 10 mins and throughly enjoyed.

I agree. Of all the bad managerial decisions Everton have made since Moyes left (primarily Koeman and Allardyce), I'm starting to think Ancelotti may have been the worst of the lot. Not because he's a bad manager (he clearly isn't, he's world class at what he does) but because he was absolutely the wrong appointment for Everton's current squad and current needs.
