We are a lost cause. Only Burnley and Leeds can save us now.

We don't need James though. He was vastly overpaid and had fitness issues. Alli was bought to fill that creative void in our squad, but seems he's not the right fit for us either.

If we stay up, and I think we will, should we finish 15th next season we still need to stick with Frank. The club needs consistency. We need a manager and director of football pulling in the same direction for the long term.

Lampard has had long enough to change mentality and tactics and find away to win but we haven’t seen that, amazingly Burnley sack their manager immediate improvement like light and day, Leeds sack their manager again immediate improvement, we sack our manager and no improvement in 12 league games, it’s ridiculous to blame Rafa for what’s happening now that’s burying your head in sand and not accepting the reality that Lampard hasn’t done what he was brought here to do. Not wrong to sack Rafa poor decision to give the job to a manager with very little experience and none in what fighting a relegation battle takes, but that’s the fault of Moshiri who obviously thought we have 18 games left we are 4 or 5 points clear of a relegation spot, he took a gamble and he lost and supporters are giving him away out by blaming Rafa, never heard so much bollocks in my life, stop being a victim and face the fact Lampard wasn’t the man for where we were. And Moshiri is a complete disaster for this club.

I’m getting a bit pissed off now with people trying to say I’m defending Rafa, what I’m saying is Lampard hasn’t improved us as in our position it’s got worse, unfortunately not my fault look at the league table it’s a fact, whether we look better or the players are happier means jack shit if that doesn’t transpire into wins and points, and I would disagree with the players looking happier, DCL, Richarlison, Doucoure, Allan, Keane, Pickford, all look miserable as fuck, I haven’t seen many playing with a smile on there face for a long time. We aren’t playing like a team that’s improved we are playing with fear and lack of confidence, fear in our defending and lack of confidence in our attempts at goal. If people are still happy to be relegated because Lampard’s better than Rafa then crack on, but I’m not happy Rafa was sacked to bring in a manager who would turn our season round, but it hasn’t worked and not saying we shouldn’t have sacked Rafa, I’m saying we shouldn’t have given the job to Lampard in the situation we were in his lack of experience meant the job was above his ability and experience, I said it when he was given the job and sadly it’s looking that way.

Good performance’s aren’t going to come with this manager and this group of players, so don’t delude yourself that they will 4-0 away to Palace will hopefully help you see that, if we stay up it will be because of the home fans forcing the players to give everything, and not because of Lampard or performance’s of ability.

I live 270 km south of Ukraine on the black sea coast. I fear my city could become frontline of further military actions should this escalate. It doesn't help there is NATO base very close from here. Sorry but I have to be realistic and weight the odds for the good sake of my family.

We all condemn Russian invasion and wish Putin die, but it is in the hands of NATO to decide whether it will be WW3 or not. I fully expect the whole madness to be over in a matter of weeks/month should NATO not interfere, as it happened in Georgia in 2008 by the way. Putin wants cut down West influence in neighboring countries and stop further NATO expansion. Ukraine potentially joining NATO would be a huge blow to Russia dominance in the region, so he couldn't let that happen. There are unlikely to be many civilian casualties should NATO stay away. Otherwise we are all doomed.

The main reason I now want Lampard over Pereira is that he isn’t being put in place by Kia. And I want fuck all to do with him at the club.

Honestly why do people want Lampard? I don't buy the "he knows the league" argument. Truth is Pereira doesn't look qualified for this job, but at least has some level of experience and actual trophies in his CV. Lampard hasn't won a thing. His managerial experience is next to none. It's a difficult job he's facing here. There's nothing that suggest he could do better than Pereira. I am huge fan of his footballing talent and perhaps he will turn out to be fantastic manager, but we are in a very difficult situation and there's zero evidence he is capable to turn things around in a short manner. At this point I would much rather chose between Rooney and Duncan. At least they have sentiment towards the club and surely know the league as well.

To be clear im no fan of him. I don’t think he came to Everton for the money though, the man is a multi millionaire. I think he came to play football and his body has let him down, as it had for years before he came to us. I just hate to see a person (any person, not just footballers) have their character judged without any personal experience of the person. I’d hate someone to look at me doing my job from a distance and make assumptions about my attitude, my influence on others, my reasons for doing things I do. I just think it’s very unfair. Just people on performance and results, no problem, but the personal stuff just isn’t right to me.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that he almost achieved a Champions League spot in his first year, achieving considerably more with what you refer to as Moyes' team than Moyes himself did. In the end, we were in the Europa League for two successive seasons, beating some pretty good teams along the way.
Why did things go downhill? First off, he had no budget. Now you can argue that neither did Moyes, which is fair, but he was trying to build on two years in the Europa and took risks. Barry and McCarthy in midfield was genius, as was securing Lukaku when no-one expected it. Risking players from the Russian league was a disaster, though. And, as people point out, our defense leaked goals terribly. Belgium undoubtedly has an issue with this, too, so there must be a solution. Is that having Baines in charge of defence, for example?
I get the reluctance, but what Martinez achieved in that first year was immense. Personally, I'd say the decline in the second year was due to not having the depth of roster to meet the demands of both league and Europa (and domestic cup runs). To compensate in the final year, he took recruiting risks that failed. The one lingering issue has to be ability to defend.

We are going nowhere with that defence. Keane is dogshit awful. So dependent on confidence, he's as unreliable as Kenny and Holgate who are clearly not premier league quality. Put in there ageing Coleman as a left back and we are set for disaster.

I was going to wait until I'd cooled down to post in this thread but fuck it, I need to say this shit and I need to say it now.
I want this fucker gone and I want him gone now. He is going to take us down. I cannot believe there are still some of our fans that don't see how much trouble we're in.
Where is this tactically astute manager he supposedly is? Three at the back is not something we have the players for, so why the fuck go with it? You could have predicted disaster with that before a ball was fucking kicked. Then you play a sub-par right back as a fucking left wing back while you have an international quality left back sat on the fucking bench. I don't give a shiny shit if they've had a falling out, you fucking play him because that left us unbelievably unbalanced on the left due to having two players there who both wanted to cut back inside onto their right foot. He's a hypocritical knob head and is doing exactly the opposite of what he asked of Digne - to put the team first.
And then why not change things when it obviously wasn't working? He waited until 13 minutes from the bastard end of the game before he did anything. He should have made at least one change at half time. Nope! Then he should've made a change the instant we got one back. Nope! The only reason we'd managed to drag ourselves back into the game was because of the sheer power of will from Gordon and Gray, it wasn't because our master tactician had done a fucking thing.
Just for those that need a fucking comfort blanket for any criticism aimed at our esteemed conductor the majority of the players were atrocious too. The midfield two of Allan and Doucoure were fucking diabolical and offered no protection whatsoever for the defence, who then proceeded to wilt under the pressure.
All of them can fuck off and then fuck off some more until they have time to fuck off again.
