Then you clearly have no idea what they actually do.

Have a look at the stats. They prioritise drugs as it's easy for the stats. Take a lot more man power to do real investigation and a lot more smarts than the average Bobby has. Needs a whole new reform to focus on what matters to protect the public.

Because drugs are the underlying cause for so much of crime. Sex trafficking, money laundering, theft, domestic abuse... but drugs are only a catalyst / currency in these areas, taking them away / making them legal only addresses the tip of the iceberg.

Legalise them then. Problem solved.

Must drugs drugs are low level home grown sold to local people. Don't think there's much other crime associated.

The rich get richer. Harder for anyone outside outside the top 6 to challenge.

The sad thing about this is that it'll have needed clubs from outside of the top 6 to vote for this to push it through. I bet we did, you know.

That tweet isn'tt strictly speaking accurate though if you read the article, it makes the assumption that the "big six" will always finish top six....

"From 2019-20, the first season of TV deals being concluded now, the current level of revenue from international TV rights sales, £3.3bn, will still be shared equally between all 20 clubs. Any increase on that level, which Scudamore is understood to be confident of securing, will then be distributed according to where a team finish in the league. So the six, confident of finishing in the higher places every season for the foreseeable future, will for the first time be paid more of the international TV rights revenues on that basis."

Problem solved?! It’ll help but it’s the tip of the iceberg. Talk to a bobby, see how he reacts when you say these things. My brother in law assumes you’re just trolling

Depends what kind of Bobby. Nothing but respect for those doing proper work like domestic violence but that's the minority.

Most in my experience are egotistical and lazy, how often do you see them standing round not even paying attention with their hands in their vest? They say about resources yet I have seen 3 cars worth to arrest a single smack head and then they waited round gabbing.

Friend rang the police the other week as she was intimidated by a man who had waited for her outside the doctors. She had sat next to him in there and when she left he tried to persuade her to get in his car (with her toddler) and followed her intimidating her trying to get her in the car.

Didn't get the call back until the next day and straight away the copper moans at her for not getting the reg, you know because that's top priority to a young mum who's frightened for her and her child. Doctors have cctv so would only taken them 10 mins to get it from them (which they then did). After checking they said because he's not physically touched her there is nothing they could do. They could see him slowly drive talking to her and her being visibly intimidated.

He had alcohol on his breath too so the mininum they could've done was go question him on that as an excuse to go round. But as a public service they should have questioned him on what he said to her. That's only off the top of my head. Unless it's on a plate they're not interested.

My brother in law was burgled last week while he was asleep in bed  the took his keys took his van and sold his tools to cash converter,  we know this because the police refused to do anything about it as the wanted to catch speeders instead,  so my brother in law had to take the law into his own hands,  he got everything back by the way ….  it only cost him £20 too.

There should be a rope for house robbers. Hope you're family aren't too shaken from someone violating their home.

BBC..

"Amelia Kerr hit a women's ODI record 232 not out and took five wickets for New Zealand against Ireland today.

No women has ever hit a century and taken five wickets in the same ODI before, let alone a double century.

In men's ODIs, the highest score by a player taking five wickets is 119 by West Indies legend Viv Richards."

She's only seventeen. Shows a bit of promise I'd say.

The women’s game is decent quality I’ve found. I can’t stomach women’s football but I’ll happily watch the cricket.

missed that Mike, what happened?

Missed putt that was going seriously downhill so he ran round and hit it back while it was still moving, got a two stroke penalty but the general opinion is that he should have been disqualified because it was cheating. Had it been a lesser name he'd have been gone.

He is really calm and calculated about it too. He didnt want to have to chip it back into the same area he was just in so tapped it back towards the green like he had just blobbed in the monthly stableford. He even said he had wanted to do it before and finally went and did it.

He hasnt officially cheated and thats why he only has the two shots but it kind of feels morally wrong. I think it will open a can of worms and other players might follow suit and therefore I expect the rule will change.
