Bailey
Not sure what to make of them really as they were well struck but not in the corner. He is not a keeper with a massive reach like De Gea but you couldnt day with confidence that De Gea would have saved them either. I am sure he would have got a lot closer though! Both free kicks were about 25 yards from goal. No top class keeper should be beaten from that range. Wouldn't want Hart at Everton. Just digressing, for free kicks of this distance why do teams have a 'wall'? For a 25 yard free kick, the keeper won't see the ball till it comes over the wall, so he only has 15 yards to react. No keeper should be beaten from 25 yards with clear sight of the ball when it is struck. markjazzbassist

These days, there are some remarkably well-taken free kicks.

No keeper should be beaten from 25 yards with clear sight of the ball when it is struck. It's not as simple as that John, especially with no wall. You could just as easily say no keeper should be beaten from 25 yards but it happens a lot because the balls are so light, curve more than ever before and dip and swerve all over the place. There are times I have expected to catch a shot cleanly and in the last 5-10 yards it's dipped a foot or so. That's not the issue with Hart mind you. Bailey
England 1 up through Kane. Good build up play from Alli and Sterling. France should have scored though. That Mbappe is class, Pogba looking good for once as well. How on earth AOC is playing in central midfield I have no idea.
Bailey
One all now. Back line all over the place, looked like Kane should have been marking him but Cahill tried to get back and couldn't. Heaton makes a fairly simple save look better than it is and Umtiti smashes it in. France are toying with us. Bailey
Tripper done like a kipper. Jones playing well surprisingly.
Bailey
Another poor goal. Dier and AOC all over the place in thr middle, terrible clearance from Cahill and then Stones sells himself. Heaton makes a good save but no one can follow up. Our front 3 are creating chances by themselves, pity about those behind.
Romey 1878
It's hilarious watching John Stones defend. The thought of him playing in midfield and showcasing just how braindead he is is even funnier. God I hope it happens.

Bailey
This England are bloody shite, as bad as us against Arsenal. France running harder and stretching the game more than us and they have 10 men. Jones, Kane, Sterling and offensively Tripper have done well. Alli ok but his level have dropped second half. Dier poor, Cahill fucking useless and Stones not much better. Stones has become a worse defender since he left.

johnh
We don't have a creative midfielder. Dier is out of his depth at this level. Ali has had a poor game. We have a very ordinary side. It looks as though we are the team with10 men.
Bailey
Really poor wasn't it? How long is Southgate going to last? On the last two performances it won't be very long at all.
