I know we did a joint with Liverpool once after losing but that was a little different.

They have scored one goal at Wembley in cup comps since 1976 and that was in a semi!

You must agree that an open top bus parade for a defeat is a bit cringe? It's like when Wales had that mad parade for finally making a major tournament and doing half decent in it, never seen something more embarrassing tbh. Should've done that after the semi then logically, at least then they'd be celebrating a win. KinL

Zoo 2.0
I'll be honest at 4-0 I got into the hilarity of it all. Fantastic to see them have such a smacking, especially as their fans have been giving it gums about quadruples and titles following a Carabao Cup win against a mediocre Newcastle. They were simply awful today, for all the good work ETH has done they're never far from a total collapse. Matt

United looked leggy and hungover from the win at Wembley. Sadly Liverpool can do that sort of win when it’s a perfect storm.

Goals change games! I thought the first Liverpool goal was completely against the run of play. I think the fact that Liverpool scored so quickly, mixed with the fact that United are fatigued from playing three games a week since around January meant that they just totally collapsed. By 4-0, the stadium was electric and United couldn't cope. Had the game played for another ten minutes it could have been 10-0. Popular Post MikeO
Brentford manager Thomas Frank speaking to Sky Sports about Ivan Toney's penalties: "I take all the praise, it is solely me. No it is Ivan, that is the technique he had when he arrived at Brentford. He is the best penalty taker in the world for a few reasons, his strategy, he practices it and he is very cool. He keeps doing it all the same. ...but mostly because he's got a few quid on it. Gwlad, Romey 1878, Palfy and 2 others 1

dunlopp9987
None of it makes sense anymore. Bournemouth, who blew a 2-0 lead and devastatingly lost to Arsenal in the last second, go and beat the shite, who just destroyed United 7-0. Palfy
Could do with Southampton getting an equaliser against West Ham, otherwise West Ham go above us with a game in hand and we drop to 18th which adds added pressure to get a result against Spurs, but maybe that added pressure is what we need to turn Spurs over. dunlopp9987
