Should have been Godfrey,  other players have been through periods when they didn't play so well, but Godfrey hasn't played a bad game since he made his Debut.

First name on the sheet for me, LB, RB, CH, you can't leave him out of the side, I'd put him in anywhere rather than play without him.

Another season done another year older but none the wiser as to when our fortunes will change. To be honest I’m clad it’s finished the torture of the last 4 weeks is finally over and calmness has descended over me, with the pressure of expectations lifted, and the disappointment finally accepted.
With the Euro’s to look forward to as pleasant distraction from everything Everton for a short while, I can recharge my batteries for the season a head, as Rom so often says rinse and repeat, I live in hope we don’t here that from him again next season, but deep down something tells me we will.

This season was so good I've just renewed my season ticket for next season within the first few hours of the window being open.

I signed up to the waiting list, been 20 years since I had my last one but now I'm back in the North West, nothing to stop me :)

The man is a legend in the true sense of the word.

Bit of a pussy doing this one in the summer though:otvwhistle:. Although actually the Western Isles at this time of year will make him feel right at home; pleased to see he'll be passing my way again.

Would love to meet him and shake his hand, let him know how much of a difference he is making to peoples lives.

Yep it's a pleasure to meet the lad, so humble (in a good way) and grounded; can only think he now does the "job" full time thanks to the scale of what it's become and corporate sponsors getting involved. Can be 100% sure he only "pays" himself what he needs to get by on.

I feel fortunate that I have, and on many occasions, he is always at home games with his bucket, he really appreciates every penny that goes in, we always try and find him and drop a few quid in, top bloke IMO

Been to about a dozen home games in that last couple of years but never met him, will go hunting for him when I am up next.

Whenever he’s posted clips from his home I’ve thought it looks like he’s worth a pretty penny anyway. Regardless - fair play to him 👏🏼

Do you go up on the train or drive? I only ask as make the long trip to every home game with my boy from Bucks.

We go up to see the northern half of the clan and stay for a week or so, which we do 4 or so times a season. Respect for going to every home game from Bucks!

How old is your boy?

He’s 15 now (so I think from memory a little older than yours). If you ever do a day trip give me a shout.
