I suppose if we get him on a free (LOL at Stoke asking for £3m when he's out of contract in six months), and given that he's had spells in his career when he's been useful in front of goal, then I suppose we could do worse than bring in a striker with strength and experience of our league until we make a move for someone better in the summer. But if this happens we'll be a laughing stock and it raises massive questions about what sort of money is available in this window. Hafnia and his ever growing list of other club contacts) He actually said he is a "superb" player on his day, can be very effective, he just has a lazy attiitude and needs someone to get the best out of him.
