I agree but what about Garbutt? The exact opposite of that happened with him. I do think Galloway's Everton career is now over, had high hopes for him too. What should and what does happen aren't always in sync - not sure if Garbutt wasn't aware of the plans not to register him, if he was not allowed to leave on loan or permanently, or if he refused to because perhaps he is getting paid a higher wage than a League 1/lower Championship side would pay him (his level?)
