Paddock Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 12m? we paid that for mirallas and he was greek league top scorer, this kid has 4 goals. i can't see this happening We paid just over 5 for Mirallas. Quote
markjazzbassist Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 We paid just over 5 for Mirallas. Thanks, that proves my point even more. Quote
JoeQuince Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 12m? we paid that for mirallas and he was greek league top scorer, this kid has 4 goals. i can't see this happening I'll echo Paddock, and also say that the article, if I remember correctly, was talking in . So, roughly £9.5m. Quote
Cornish Steve Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 12m? we paid that for mirallas and he was greek league top scorer, this kid has 4 goals. i can't see this happening IMO, articles like that are little more than an agent doing his job by "leaking" news to the press. He's setting a price expectation that may or may not be at all close to reality. Quote
Matt Posted November 24, 2014 Report Posted November 24, 2014 "...according to media reports." yet mentions no links to any media report.... a quick google says the scum are reporting it, so take it with a bucket of salt. Quote
JoeQuince Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 I'm not going to link it, because it's the S*n, but apparently we are pushing hard to sign him for £14m. Not quite as exciting as Yarmolenko, but I really, really like the way that this kid plays. He's already got a lot of great elements to his game at 18, he works really hard, has great balance with the ball at his feet, and he uses his body and strength really well. I'd be happy with this. Cornish Steve Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 West Ham are favourites to get him, it seems. Quote
chicagoblue Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 (edited) Looks more of a pure striker than a No 10, but sign him up. Of possible note, Basel were knocked out of the Champions League this year in qualifying. https://youtu.be/IarKK_ViDZA Edited September 1, 2015 by chicagoblue Quote
nyblue23 Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 https://youtu.be/IarKK_ViDZA Never seen someone with that combination of pace, power, touch and awareness at that age. Get him in. Quote
markiediow Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 Not a number 10 by the looks of the video, would be a good signing to push Lukaku but would not solve our main problem. Quote
Matt Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 I'll ask around, not heard of the lad SimonButtle 1 Quote
scouse Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 looks good lets hope we get someone in as No 10, hope he wont use Lennon signing to bring Kone in from right as the no 10 we need! Quote
MikeO Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 Sounds like a disease Exactly my first thought. Hopefully if we got him his talent would quickly spread through the team. Romey 1878 and Matt 2 Quote

London Blue Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 Exactly my first thought. Hopefully if we got him his talent would quickly spread through the team. That's poor(ly) Matt 1 Quote

SimonButtle Posted September 1, 2015 Report Posted September 1, 2015 You can never truly tell from a YouTube vid, but the kid looks half decent for his age. Quote
