Paddock
true, but it would've been a good platform to allow him to announce it, rather than having it spread all over the internet first. A bit more dignified He'll of been the first to know Matt how ofter do you see a manager announce their own sacking?
Newty82
Ah well. We move on. Hopefully Roberto will take time to reflect and have a decent career. Can't be arsed to say much about it just now. So many mixed feelings and thoughts.

MikeO
Hope so didn't like him. You always supported Roberto Mike. Are you not a little bit happy? For the well being of our club not the fact a bloke has lost his job. I always supported the club and trusted the board to make the right decision; also played devil's advocate a bit to get some balance on occasion. Am I happy? No. Everton are playing crap and in the wrong half of the league and our manager has failed. That doesn't make me happy at all; I wanted him to kick on from 13/14, didn't everyone? Matt
AWARDS NOTICE Following the departure of Roberto Martinez, the Clubs End of Season Awards, due to be held at St Georges Hall tonight, has been postponed. Roberto has shown great commitment and dignity throughout his time at Everton and the Club feels it should reciprocate by rescheduling the event. The Club hopes that those due to attend would agree that the planned celebration would be inappropriate in the circumstances. We appreciate that many people will be disappointed but we hope there will also be an understanding of why this decision was taken. The Club will invite all who had planned to attend to an event before the start of next season at which players and Club officials will also be in attendance. The Club will contact all guests as soon as possible and will provide rearranged details as soon as they become known.

Kankurette
There is going to be a hell of a lot of dirt coming out about Martinez, I suspect. I'd love to know what went down with him and the players. That statement sounded pretty jarg. It made Martinez sound like a bit of a prick. Where did it come from? The Duncan Ferguson page on Facebook is claiming it's real.
