Hope McCarthy is ok, he is fantastic in his favoured position. Just what we need. Valencia and Lukaku are working their butts off. Valencia having a strange game... things not turning out for him but he's as game as fuck. Doing a good job for the team. Lukaku playing the target man, timing his leaps well but his headers aren't finding a man. His work ethic has been noticeably better and I'm pleased with him but a fella as big as him needs to be stronger. He hits the deck too often. Needs to work on his core. The problem is that they are so well organized by Klopp that we're not really getting any good chances on the ball; everything is closed down so quickly we have no time to pick an incisive pass. We need to keep shooting anytime we get the ball near the top of the box, and we need to keep swinging in crosses every time we have the ball down the side. Every time they go forward they do so in thd knowledge that we can hit them hard on the break. Lukaku has the beating of Klavan every time.
