Matt
If it’s broke, don’t fix it? good to see Gomes on the bench though.
Shukes
Good to see Gomes back on the bench. Hopefully he’ll get a few minutes today. Strong team, the players need to perform now.

Shukes
Problem is, who do we have to bring in to change that? We have to try to get a settled team, rather than just change players and hope something changes. Last week we played well. Let’s see if that gave them any kind of motivation and see if they can end this run. I can’t see the likes of Davies and Sidibe making much of a difference. I would have maybe dropped one of the younger lads on the bench though. Bailey
Cornish Steve
I was really hoping to not see Schneiderlin or Sigurdsson start today, but at least we’re seeing consistency. It most likely means, though, that we’ll have little pace or urgency again today.

Play Iwobi in Sigurdsson’s position. Wiggytop
Wiggytop
Not the most inspiring team selection, but there’s enough quality to beat Burnley if the play with confidence and conviction

The 2 up front hast to be tried and if that means losing Siggy (who I like) or Delph/Morgan (who I like / despise depending which version of them turns up) then we’ve got the depth. I’m still baffled by Bernard being dropped because he gets the best out of Digne and works very hard. I think it was Finn that posted the line up I’d like to see most and I honestly think it could work, especially against teams who hold tight lines. Cornish Steve
Just realized that Mina-Keane sounds rather like mannequin, which is how they’ve sometimes played - but hopefully not today. MikeO and Matt

Playing Schneilderlin is not working, he takes too long to transition the ball from defense, and usually this is a sideways pass, attacks break down. I like Silva but he should trust his instinct and play a 433.

Silva is taking a big risk at least with the fans by sticking with this
Bailey
Can already tell that Richarlison has turned up in a sulky mood today. Matt

Matt
If it wasn’t already clear, 2 deep sitting midfielders slows everything down. If for no other reason than it gives the option to go back, which is too easy and won’t challenge the players to think of something different, let alone worry the opponent Richarlison needs to wake up quickly too. memmaclub2
SO please explain what Morgan and Delph offer that sets them apart they both pass sideways rarely tackle and rarely go beyond the man in front. so if the oposition know that they just need o man mark gylfi in the middle and load the flanks and we are easy to defend. memmaclub2
Burnley have tailored their approach to beat everton we never change the team just the ppl in the set up we are so predictable. They are happy to let us have 60% posession because we do FUCK ALL with it.
