With the gloves they have these days and the grip on the ball he doesn't have an excuse for not catching it IMO. It was a really comfortable speed and height too.

It doesn't matter though, just an observation. I'd rather he did that than a Pickford and pushed it into his net!

Absolute rubbish - the grips on goalkeeping gloves are relatively useless in wet conditions, they are designed to be optimised in the dry.

You can see from the amount of players slipping over that the conditions are difficult, so the correct decision 100% to parry if unsure which is what all young goalkeepers are taught.

Never seen Carlo show that level of emotion/anger. He was PISSED at DCL there. Rightfully so, Richarlison sprinted 70 yards for that.

Had DCL played Charlie in then it's 2-0, he was in acres of space and instead Dom opted to give Leeds a goal-kick. Not surprised at all to see Carlo react like he did.

DOMENIC CALVERT OF LEWIN AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS

You can see the relief on DCL's face there, he's looked out of confidence for a while and will have elevated himself with that finish. Makes up for the chance that he just sliced minutes earlier!

I don't think Holgate's header was going in, so he had to be there.
