Leeds (Away) Wednesday 3 February

A bit more of a 'battling' side with James on the bench - not a bad way to go considering how hard Leeds work. Bring that bit of quality on later in the game when legs are a bit more tired - maybe making the most of James this way.

Surprised to see Keane on the bench though

I was told King couldn’t play.🧐.

That was me. I had heard anyone signed on deadline day couldn't play this round of fixtures, but apparently they only meant the games played yesterday.

Not very enthused with this starting XI. Hoping for the best, expecting the worst. The Everton way

He can’t, the registration was too late, makes it rather wierd that he’s on the bench other than feeling part of the squad straight away.

Dont like seeing Delph on the bench one little bit either.

Got to hope Carlo has it right and we do a similar job to Wolves tonight.

Decided to take the day off and go skiing so I’ll miss this.

1. Skiing rather than watching Everton?! Shambolic.

2. Out of interest, where do you live/ski? The only place to ski is at an artificial centre, unless that's what you mean?

King is on the bench.
Not overly happy with that starting lineup but time will tell.

Think it's a case of resting where we can, given how badly the "strong" XI played against Leicester and Newcastle a rotation isn't that bad an idea IMO. Think people will be happy just to see one goalkeeper on the bench too!

If we can stay in the game and be at 0-0 around the hour mark then James is a great option to have.

Not doubting that but wouldn’t you think they would include being on the bench in that, very strange some of the rules.

Ancelotti has gone very attacking here I’m more than happy with the line up, great management from Carlo with Pickford selection showing wisdom and great man management.
No Bernard on the bench does that signal his departure is imminent.

I think that is attacking a line-up as we could hope for. I think there will be goals in this!

Happy with the team selection, strong enough to do the job today, no Bernard or Cenk hopefully means there on their way this window.

Worry a bit about the pace of Fraser and Almiron on the wings against Coleman and Digne, but I definitely see goals for us. That front 4 is the best we have, love seeing them all on the pitch together.

COYB!!

Good team. Let's hope the better on-ball players show for the ball.
