Trigger got a reaction from plaidharper in Everton squad for 2023/24

1x LB
Cannon
1xCF
1xWinger
Out
Davies (contract)
Townsend (contract)
Mina (contract)
Deli (5 months approx. left on contract)
Coady (loan expired)
Moise Keane (Juventus should have to buy him this season)
Andre Gomes ( 1 season left on contract)
Keane
Holgate
Maupay
I want to see lots of young, up and coming purchases, not the established premier journeyman player purchases or the agent pushed ones that are the top 6 rejects. This is how Brentford / Brighton have built their success and its how we need to go about our transfer business.

Trigger reacted to Matt in Sean Dyche
He has to be given a chance. His mentality fits what the fans want; hard work, gritty and pretty depending on the game, no bullshit talk.
He needs a chance and we as fans need to be patient.

Trigger reacted to Romey 1878 in Bournemouth 28th May Home
Lampard had had pretty much all of our easy games before his sacking, Dyche has had Arsenal (twice), Man City, Newcastle, the shite, Man United, , Brentford, Chelsea, Brighton, Fulham amongst his games.
Lampard had us getting beaten by all of our relegation rivals, some while they sat fucking bottom of the league, whereas Dyche has had us beat Leeds, draw with Leicester, draw with Wolves, draw with Palace... All games I think there's a good chance we'd have taken fuck all from under Lampard.
To compare the managers and say Dyche is doing the same, or worse, is a load of crap and is just showing how things can be twisted.
I'm no huge fan of Dyche but that really is a nonsense observation.

It's just a game.. right? ..WRONG. if I'm awake I'm thinking of Sunday. Been playing game in my head over and over. Crazy how this club has a hold over me. Add I'm American. I should not be this hooked but I am.
Come on you Blues! One time... please..one time

Trigger reacted to London Blue in Board/Owners Related Stuff
He needs to admit he was wrong, apologise for his actions, and say he just wants to come back to be at Goodison and see Everton play and be part of us again. That is all it would take for his nonsense to be forgiven.
All families have rows and people get caught up in it, just say sorry and we move on.

Trigger reacted to Hafnia in Michael Keane
I’d play mina ahead of Keane. Mina doesn’t often pass the eye test but his stats are no where near as bad as Keane. We all know when Keane is in this current run of form jd needs time out. We can’t play him through it, lampard tried that. Gave him arm band etc.

Brighton chasing hard for a European spot - so not taking it easy from them. Going to need a top performance and most probably that slice of luck to get anything out of this game. I do feel we have got ourselves in the position we actually do need something.

Not a chance it will be 0-0 if Keane starts. Well have to score a goal for every one he gifts to Brighton.
-
Trigger reacted to AlbanyNYToffee in Sean Dyche
Will continue to support him. That said the red flags are increasing with alarming frequency. To continue to play Keane, at all, is nothing short of appalling. Godfrey is not a fullback, and never will be. The lack of and, when they are made, questionable subs has serious Bobby Brown Shoes vibes.
If Keane starts at Brighton and anyone but Patterson is playing at RB I'll be f***ing fuming.

Trigger reacted to Goodison Glory in Leicester (Away) 1st May
Keane keeps making errors...these ones he is getting away with but his passing with head or foot is shite.

Trigger reacted to Boston Toffee in Leicester (Away) 1st May
I've truly had enough already of Dyche and his stubborness

Gift number 2. No need to try against us, we'll just give you the opportunities!

Every time we have to work like f'ing Trojans to get a goal and yet we always gift goals that require no effort at all! FFS!!

Trigger reacted to Matt Tiger in James Garner
I thought he showed real quality in limited minutes in the spurs match, and I think with Doucs absence it makes the most sense for him to step into the starting midfield. Him and onana actually complement each other well in theory.

Trigger reacted to Bailey in Spurs (Home) Mon Apr 3
What a fucking strike that was!
Such a weird game. Our two best players at the time let us down, albeit at least Keane made up for it with that strike.
I thought we were really good. Gray got on my tits for almost always choosing the wrong option but everyone else contributed to a great team performance that deserved more.
It is a shame we will miss Doucoure as he was doing so well but Garner came in and looked lively so between him and Davies I am sure we can cover the whole he leaves.

I'm going into this one with the exact same mindset I've had for every game since the WC, not expecting anything.
I am broken inside.

Trigger reacted to plaidharper in Marko Arnautovic
Can't really see Arnautovic being the answer. If we wanted a has-been, we could have just kept Rondon. A better target man than Marko. Plus it would be so Everton to bring in an injured striker to help with an injured striker. Since January 5th has only played 25 minutes of football and in that tiny bit has had zero goal contributions and a yellow. Only 2 goals since October in a weaker league.
Basically I feel like this is a distraction from the real harm the board has done. Sack the board.

Trigger reacted to Shukes in Seamus Coleman
This lad epitomises the club.
He is a throwback to another era, one that has guts and heart.
Coleman is a role model for any young kid at the start of his career. He alone can inspire players like Onana what it means to play for the badge on your shirt.
A true Blue!

Trigger reacted to Btay in Seamus Coleman
His best performance in a long time. Put a great cross in for Dom that probably should have been a goal as well.
When you need to instil desire, fight & passion into a team - you play Coleman. I’ve said it before but I have so much respect for him, in a time where a majority of footballers are precious wankers, he is a stand up bloke.

Trigger got a reaction from Wiggytop in Man of the Match v Arsenal
Onana best player on the pitch.
Huge mention for McNeil and Mykolenko in terms of improvement. Completely different players!
