Playing striker he has been less involved, but I have seen him do quite a bit of tracking back and challenging for the ball. Infact it was praised by commentators in both matches. 
We have to be careful not to look for fault where none exists, especially in young players. We dont want to drive them out.

If it wasn't obvious last season and beginning of this that Lampard does either rate or trust Alli, then this weeks event leave no room for doubt. It becoming obvious to me that Alli is no way a Lampard signing. 
I want to see the likes of McNeil building those partnerships with Patterson etc. The more they player together the quicker it will begin to gel.

They could be, but I've always been a supporter of minimal changes because 5+ upsets the balance of the squad. They're onto 16 now, who don't know the club, it's philosophy or its principles and will be pushing the majority of the players who earned promotion out of what they earned. I expect a lot of discontent and for them to collapse before Christmas.

I think any idea of Gordon getting close to what Spurs are paying Richarlison is ridiculous, but I’ll leave you to it. 

Gordon doesn’t deserve to be on much more than Davies yet, he’s only made 50 odd appearances for the first team over a couple of years. Needs to do more before he takes big money. 

I doubt Gordon is pushing for the move, however if we get into the £50-£60m territory I'd be happy to sell just as it allows us to reinvest, regardless of the potential Gordon has. 
Would absolutely make me want to cut my bollocks off if Ross Barkley was somehow included in the deal though.

I think if we can play it right and get Gallagher and/or Broja involved in the deal it's all good; a straight sale not so much.

The comments on the BBC's blog for our game were ridiculous, all about Lampard likely to be the first manager to be fired. What about Moyes? What about ten Hag? What about Vieira? We lost our first two games by a single goal, against reasonably tough opposition, and would likely have taken at least a point in each with a recognized striker (Rondon doesn't count). I just don't get it. We're doing OK, and we're going to do well once we've brought in all our recruitment targets.

All need a striker to do the bits they can’t. They will all improve with an out and out striker leading the line - even Rondon in the short-term.

Game lost in midfield, 2 there is just not enough, we looked much better when we were forced into 4 at the back. If we do t get a new striker before next week, Rondon needs to start, he’s not great but at least he fights for possession. Onana didn’t let his error affect him, he was the spark that dragged us back into contention, can only get better with more playing time.
next week has become a game where we definitely  need 3 points to take the pressure of Frank and the squad
