Cornish Steve
http://www.espnfc.us/chelsea/story/2683734/jose-mourinho-payoff-to-influence-chelsea-decision 30m payout to mou if he's fired. sources say they have talked about it now but still aren't certain. what a campaign so far, full of drama. Frankly, they're idiots for signing a deal of this type. You simply have to link it to performance.

Matt
No, think about it. Rodgers will be the cheap option.exactly. Rumoured 30m to sack Jose. But i don't see it happening, very few people in the world can save Chelsea's season, and JM is probably top of any list. Don't get the AVB and Ancelotti rumours, why would Roman go back to people that he's already fired, again?!
MikeO
Moderately interesting this... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34672094 ....but how a "body language expert" completely overlooks his lack of eye contact confuses me. Matt
Matt he already went back to mourinho and won the league. by doing that he shows he can hire a manager he's fired.i know dude, but it took 2 seasons. The question for me is; why isn't he looking at fresh blood rather than going back to what he knows? Jose is one of the most successful managers of recent years, that made sense. Neither of the 2 mentioned have anywhere near the credentials.

I think the reason he doesn't do fresh blood is he's been burned in the past. Villas boas Matteo grant etc he needs them to win now so badly he doesn't ever want a big rebuild, just buy a couple stars and win and if you don't goodbye. Almost like he had an American nfl team or something.

Hafnia
I meant to post this some time ago - its a pretty disturbing read and I think most people in football need to be aware of this as it was a disgraceful series of events that should never have been allowed to happen. The cover up has been the most shocking part. http://www.mcfcforum.com/index.php/forum/other-football-and-sport/125947-john-aldridge-s-a-vile-excuse-of-a-human-being The original article can't be accessed. But feel free to post thoughts. Always thought Aldo was a classless idiot (remember him rubbing Brian Laws head after he scored an own goal) - but this is horrible. Hafnia
Almost speechless...that's fucking disgusting I'm surprised its taken this long for someone to post a response to this. I know personally that this series of events actually did take place. However I didn not of the horrific specifics that were detailed in this article - "slapped in the face". The reality of it all is that Aldo more or less destroyed a lad and stopped him having a career. He actually allowed the club to continue paying him a wage so that he couldn't go elsewhere and earn the career his talent deserved. Taylor went to my old school and from accounts of people who played with and against him he was exceptional. What aldridge has done has got to be one of the worst examples of mistreating a footballer. Its almost like he had a winning lottery ticket and aldridge ripped it up in front of him - all because deep down inside he wanted his son to be the talented player. It appears "scouse john" as time goes by has a lot more revealed about him that makes you wonder how he had a career in the game. The PFA want shoooting for their neglect of the lad. Tranmere fans that I know are disgusted in aldridge and that must feel a bad emotion to have - some of them refuse to accept it happened because "surely it would have come out - the lads just bitter". His outbursts on twitter and some articles of his opinion reveal what a low life he actually is. This story needs socialising because i'm sure this type of thing happens elsewhere in the game. My golf mate was a keeper at Crewe and said he went through something similar - (not as bad) and he completely lost his confidence and love of the game. Lowensda
I read it a couple of years ago. Not surprised no one touched him (Aldo). The PFA have just as much responsibility in this case and they'll never admit wrong doings on their part.

Avram Grant Nigel Adkins Sam Allardyce (Blackburn) Redknapp (Spurs) Mackay (Cardiff) Laudrup (Swansea) Burley (Hearts) Di Matteo (Chelsea) Did we see anything come out mentioning the colour of their skin when they were sacked for ridiculous reasons??? Honestly I fully support diversity in every way shape and form but this has got to stop. Next up will be Garth Crooks taking 5 minutes to complete one sentence as to why this is wrong (inserting irrelevant long words for the sake of it) - do me a favour.
