markjazzbassist
honestly if rangers were out and out winning the Scottish championship and promotion was pretty much guaranteed i wouldn't be surprised if he went there in the summer. but i can't really see that with a 7m price tag, they couldn't afford that. Finn balor
I think a lot of clubs will be looking at him. Championship teams are paying £7-8 mil for strikers so does he take a chance on a boro or Derby or go to Norwich,Swansea. Got a feeling Swansea will go this season

Lowensda
He's having a medical at Norwich according to SSN. Good luck to him. Think he'll do fantastic there personally. For any Norwich fan that may be trawling this site, just know that he's a limited footballer but an incredible person. His attitude to life, to family and the under-privileged is second to none. A brilliant personality to have in a dressing room and a great role model for younger kids. He's a terror on the pitch and although he's technically lacking, he'll make up for it in effort and commitment (and his finishing is sublime). A better person than a player but sometimes, they're usually, harder to find. Matt
He's having a medical at Norwich according to SSN. NAISMITH TO HAVE NORWICH MEDICAL It is our understanding that Steven Naismith is set to have a medical at Norwich today, ahead of an £8.5m move from Everton. If all goes to plan it's a deal that could go through today. Feel quite sad at the thought of him leaving.
Romey 1878
Feel quite sad at the thought of him leaving. The £8.5m cushions the blow somewhat for me. Popular Post MC11
Horrible one this. The ultimate professional, had a knack for important goals and would give you 100% no matter what the circumstances. Easily the best one on one finisher at the club. Unfortunately we have moved on a bit and have more talent at our disposal, so it was always going to be hard for him to break in this season. Good Luck Steven, I'm sure he'll do well there. Popular Post Hafnia
People will realise what a good player and finisher he is now... he will bag goals for them and become a massive crowd favourite. Yes - for any Norwich fans having a nose - my opinion is this below.... A very very underrated football player and excellent finisher. His intelligence is excellent - he energises the team, he gets in the face of the opponents and he doesn't respect names. He isn't the quickest, he is good in the air, he is reasonably strong, he is pretty accurate with his shooting but hasn't got what you would call a hard shot. The reality is - he is a tremendous asset to any squad and manager. In this day of greedy footballers who don't play for the shirt - he is a blast from the past. His mental strength is the most impressive thing about him, 2 cruciate injuries, a tough introduction to the league and he never gave up. I can honestly say hand on heart that he is the most impressive "PERSON" I have seen at the club in a long long time. You will never find him hiding - even when he is having a poor game. He gives back to the community and people less fortunate. Enjoy him - he will always get a fond reception from Evertonians. efc1111, Matt, Romey 1878 and 2 others
Pearso
Very sad to see him leave. As mentioned above, a better bloke than player, and in saying that Norwhich will get a lot from him on the field. Will never forget him laughing and pointing right at Tomkin's enraged face after he took that pathetic dive. One of the funniest things I've seen on a football field. I recall him giving Rom what for on the pitch (at a time when Rom was driving me insane with his "half hearted running") - Nais didn't care that Rom was chief striker and multi million pound talent... he told him straight and you could see Rom looking at him with bemusement. That's what we need more of in our team - strong characters, simple as that. Elston Gunnn
JoeQuince
I will miss him if he's off. He will succeed at Norwich with the type of game they play. They'll win some matches they aren't supposed to, and hopefully he keeps them up (we supposedly get more money, and I want only positive things for Naisy). Blue 250
The £8.5m cushions the blow somewhat for me. That's unbelievable amount for him tbh. His three goals against Chelsea will probably have added a couple of million. Norwich hoping his goals keep them in the prem, should start most games for them, he deserves that, good bloke!
