Well if you're not scoring goals across the team you better hope you have a 20 goal a season striker. Paddock and Matt

Hafnia
Well done Wayne. For those people who criticise him or say "it's his foundation" "its only a few weeks wages"..... He doesn't have to do it. Read the comments at the bottom of the article. That money will go a long way.

plaidharper
No way Wayne can play the full 90 every game until the end of the season. Doesn't look to have the legs. Means Morgan, Beni, or Besic going to have to step up.

Sibdane
Yeah, he's good for the first 50-60 minutes then every action after that seems desperate. He should've have come off much sooner tonight.
Romey 1878
Definitely hasn’t got the legs to play 90mins too often, but some of the passes he makes are staggering. StevO

His creativity and long range passing is still sublime, but some of his shorter range passing has been shocking of late. He has given the ball away quite a few times in the last 5 or 6 games. Subbing him for any of our other CMs - and let's remember he's played centre forward most of his career - is a defensive move. A ball playing CM of real quality has to be a priority in the summer, get rid of Besic and Schneiderlin

I couldn't work out what he'd even been wanting to do with it, it was that bad.
pete0
Can see him putting some cutting balls through to Walcott. It's one of the easiest ways to get one on one but most of our players couldn't time a soft boiled egg.

London Blue
Rooney is a bit like an aging quarterback in American football, still got an arm and eye for the long range glory passes, but his hand off's and short range stuff is miss-timed as his timing is off. I cant help but think that either Klaassen or Siggy in the middle with Vlasic or Bolasie on the wing would be a much faster and more balanced team. nutmegwolf203 and nyblue23

Romey 1878
I’m sure someone will point out him having a brain fart but I thought he was fantastic today. He might not have the legs but he’s still got that footballing intelligence in bucketloads and he kept us calm, and most importantly he was a leader.
