To concede 4 goals in ten minutes is a disgrace, but the fact is with out those three amazing saves from Pickford we'd have been beaten by 8. I said before the game that we needed extra in midfield because Allan and Davies would get exposed and guess what happened. Time and time again. To leave them to on their own like that was criminal from Benitez. Our performance at set pieces has to improve. Godrfey involved in both, the second misreading the flight and getting caught underneath it. There were comments last week that Richarlison coming back would make everything better and it looked like it would with our 2nd goal but he showed that his goal couldn't cover over those cracks running through the side as we were exposed time and time again and created next to nothing in that period. Zoo 2.0 Posted October 23, 2021 Report Share Posted October 23, 2021 To think that I got grief for ranting about the West Ham game last week, that was the most embarrassing performance I've seen at Goodison and Benitez is already slipping into volatile territory with the crowd, he's going to get less time than any other manager we've had and based on the last two results he's not going to get much more rope. We kept quiet last year because it was Carlo, we keep quiet no longer even for Raffa, that was unacceptable, and he needs to know how unacceptable it was, no easy gloss over. Having said that he still has my vote, but he's not above criticism, and has to take full responsibility for it. no excuse with how many players we had missing, this was Watford.
