Popular Post Newty82
No shame in that performance Considering we lost, that was an enjoyable watch. Remember lads...at this point last year, at 2 down that quickly, heads would have been down and out. plaidharper, Fosse Captain, RuffRob and 4 others 6
plaidharper
Like I said in the first half, to which some did not agree... but to each his own, we did not play terribly but terrible scoreline. Sev

Just seen the goal line technology.. millimeters in it. No idea how we haven't taken something from that. Had VAR not overturned that goal, i think we win that game. chicagoblue

Fosse Captain
Can’t believe we don’t get anything out of that. Gave ourselves a mountain to climb and we so nearly did it. Considering I thought we’d lose comfortably I’m gutted we haven’t managed to get a point in the end. Danjuma simply has to score at the death. The things EFC do to us eh
Popular Post Romey 1878
I thought we were comfortably the better side for the 90 minutes. We let ourselves down with some poor defending and poor finishing the other end. Performances like today make me believe even more that we'll win a fair few more games this season. We're a good side and we played some lovely football today as well, which isn't something we've done a lot of. We may very well lose 2 in a row with City coming up next, but it's important not to overreact to that or the loss today because we're very much heading in the right direction. So frustrating when he looks up and sees them as well, but decides to ignore them. Nearly loved him right at the end though. I said that about his game months ago not a team player just out for himself constantly wants to cut in and take the shot on, he never passes never looks for a team mate in a better position but why would he he has no intention of making a pass anyway. Yet he has great ability and was a huge upgrade imo on McNeil today just a shame he’s such selfish cunt. Would Dyche be able to get that out of him yes he just won’t play him much as we’ve seen. StatesideToffee14
Just as a matter of perspective, we were at 14 points at this point last season through 15 matches (given that there was a World Cup break in there of course). The season before that, we were at 19 points through 17 matches. With the deduction, we're at 16 points through 18 matches this season. Romey 1878
Tottenham have won more Premier League games against Everton than they have versus any other side (30). Richarlison has scored four goals in his last three games in the Premier League, one more goal than he had scored across his previous 40 appearances. Richarlison is the 13th player to score against Everton in the Premier League having previously played for them in the competition, and the first since Joshua King in October 2021 for Watford. Sean Dyche has never won away to Spurs in the Premier League, with one draw and six defeats, seeing his teams score three goals while conceding 17 in return. Son Heung-min scored his 11th goal in his 18th game of the season in the Premier League, surpassing his tally for the entirety of last season (10 goals, 36 apps). In his first game of the season in the Premier League, Everton’s Andre Gomes ended a run of 71 games without a goal in the competition, scoring for the first time since February 2019 vs Wolves. RuffRob
I was so suprised by this performance - after the disappointment of a mid week cup exit, I would have understood if the team just didn't turn up today, I was really not expecting such a performance - especially after going 2-0 down. Given the circumstances, a lot of todays performance that was as good as we have seen this season.

Romey 1878
It wasn't that long ago we went to Spurs and went 2-0 down early on and got destroyed because our heads went down. The difference between then and now was vast - we didn't let a slow start get to us as at all and did enough in the rest of the game to win it. The players and management are doing an excellent job. badaids, Matt and Newty82
