msloan78 got a reaction from badaids in Newcastle (Home) Thur 17 March
I am absolutely exhausted after watching that game. Shaking like a shitting dog for the majority of it....
Goodison was electric at the end, and long may it continue.

I thought that as well, showing a bit of maturity and integrity. Standing by the lads he has been trying to motivate all season.
If Rooney keeps going as he is, then his time will come.

Doesn't mention anything specific, but I'd defo have him!

I like his attitude. Threw himself into a few tackles, particularly the sliding interception against Sargent (I think). Lord knows it must be really difficult mentally given the shitshow going on around us!
With the ball, he doesn't look like he belt past someone but, he looks patient and technically sound often looking for little 1-2 with the midfielders.

'Everton board meeting to discuss Benitez future'

Read Jamie Redknapps words - exactly why we should have swerved this guy. Forget his Liverpool connection, he's not a good bloke to have at a club.
If you can't be arsed to read it, he says he has a habit of causing chaos at clubs, is a politician, always blames everyone else, puts this person against that person, creates an atmosphere of the crowd vs the board.
Tell me Redknapp is wrong?
Even tonight, when questioned, what was Rafas response? Not 'yep, we need to do better'. Not 'I'm responsible for these results and I must do better' but to say he's trying to fix problems of the last 5 years, it needs time, the top scorer has been missing.
Now, to be fair, he's not too wrong HOWEVER take some accountability. It's the medical department. It's the DoF department. It's past decisions. Everything is about reflecting elsewhere. He has too many ready made excuses here and it shows. It suits him to have so many ready made deflections.
Let's be honest, these same defenders didn't do too bad last year. Now they're a shambles. That's coaching. That's the Manager.
A lot of people at this club are taking the piss. The decisions are woeful. Fancy getting us into a position where we have the worst run of results in the past 5/6 years but we can't sack the bloke because we've either fucked it up before or we've given him to much say and power within the corridors. Who's managing the manager these days? Fuck me.
And I'm sorry guys, but we as fans have to hold our hands up too. We've wanted every manager sacked as soon as they hit a poor run. We've booed them out and forced the decision. We've not allowed any potential project to properly find its feet before We've got restless. A whole generation has been born, grown up, had kids, who have also grown up since we've had a run of success. We can't be classed as a big club, rather a club in a big city. I know that won't land well but it's reality.
I just hope we find a way that makes sense and allows everything to settle. From the boardroom to the players to the fans. At the moment, every part of this club is ripping it apart. It fuckin sad mate.

Allan has been amazing. Wish we had this guy a few years ago so we could see him for longer. Absolutely an Everton player.
Should be captain.

Selling Digne at his current age/value is probably a must in all honesty. He’s one of our high earners too. Although £20m or whatever is the eventual price for this new lad, he’ll be on a fraction of Digne’s wage - we probably can’t afford not to sell Digne when all is considered. Same goes for Mina unfortunately - less so for Richarlison and Dom due to their age but we need to improve on and off the pitch to break this cycle.

Rondon having a dig, arguably his best 45 minutes for us.
Need a few more to turn up to back up Richy, Gray and Allan.
Look like we flap almost every time we gain possession in our half though.

Sailed close to the wind in the last 10-15 minutes when Holgate came on, but other than that we were very much the better team. So frustrated that we only took a point, but much better than the defeat I was expecting.
The media will want to paint the picture that Conte was unlucky in his first Premier League game, which wasn't the case.

Having to listen to Radio 5.
Chris Sutton is such a bell. Don't recall him ever having anything good to say about Everton.
Even when, for example, Pickford is having a good game he can't compliment him. Apparently Ramsdale is better, Pickford loves a flashy save and he dives like a flying pig.

Id say if they're muscular injuries, its probably that they're being worked harder and playing with a greater intensity than we have for a long time, and that takes a period of physical adaptation.
That and just being unlucky with some injuries like DCL/Richy.

Good attitude, and genuinely recognises the opportunity he has been presented. Said he'd work hard every day to get in the team, and has backed himself.
Other's have said it, but seems be such a good role model for some of the younger lads.

I work with a load of Leicester fans, and from the get go their opinion has been that he'll have 1 worldy and then go missing for 2 mths.
Happy ramming it down their throats.

I’m so proud that he’s a Blue. He’s just a sound bloke - much like Calvert-Lewin, he comes across so well in interviews and I’m delighted that he’s representing our club.

👏👏👏
Respect grows for Rafa. We've no right to be getting a point there with our thread bare squad. Still can't believe the mess our squad is in after all that money being spanked.
