And it does feel sore that a player who has had so much invested in him by the club he is supposed to support will walk away with the club getting nothing in return. We can speculate on reasons why, the if's and the buts. It cuts deep that the player once refered to as our diamond seems to have pre-empted a free move away from us. A real kick in the nuts. We never had that money, the 15m is all profit. Its not ideal but you blame Ross and I think the commercial team should have handled it better.
