MikeO
Bunch of old bastards going to bed this early! I'm a bit worried what he's going to do to the bear in the basket personally. Operation Yewtree should take a look! Anyway, be in bed soon but more then likely be up by around 5.00am, it's what age does to you. Unlikely to see you then . London Blue
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36282767 Would take Benitez great manager, he'd be perfect for us. Better than Koeman, I don't know. Nice dilemma to have tho.

Popular Post Btay
This is a massive, defining summer coming up. I'm excited for it and nervous. I love our club because we do things the "right way" but this summer we need to be utterly ruthless. Appoint a quality manager. Lose the deadwood. As Cornish said, we need a midfield general, someone who can play there and dominate a game. McCarthy isn't it so he can go. Quality keeper. Quality second forward for when Rom has his few games off. Keep our young guns. I like De Boer as long as it's with Berkamp and Staam. I like clean sheets, teams coming to Goodison and not scoring. That place needs to become a fortress again! However I wish Martinez all the best, I was a supporter up until West Ham. Toffee_in_LA, Matt, MikeO and 2 others
MC11
My biggest wish is a new manager coming in and seeing right through that shite central midfield we've have for 3 seasons. The difference a couple of players in there will make will be huge.

Paddock
I was trying to be logical. If he's paid £4m a year and the reported compo is £12m, doesn't that just equal 3 years worth of pay, coincidentally the same time he had left on his contract? I'm sure there will be something written in to his contract stating if he's sacked he'll get severence pay rather than fully paid up. You are expecting our shower to do things professionally... it wouldn't surprise me to hear this... "Well, we had to appoint Gary Megson as our new manager because after paying Roberto his full £12m Gary was the only man we could afford. We never had conditions on his termination in his contract... Roberto said he would walk for nothing if he didn't win us the league If you can't rely on people's word and a handshake in this world then we live in a world I don't want to be in." Lowensda
SkySports Italia reporting the Mourinho will be announced as United manager later today. chalkpie
I've always thought Jose was a conceded prick - but honestly what happened to Chelsea this year? Has he "lost" it? Do we really want to take a chance on somebody who failed massively? It reminds me of our last manager - he failed as well yet we scooped him up. Yes I know JM is a legend and is in a different category, but what if he is past his 'sell by' date? I really don't know.

Hafnia
Another super Danny Gosling Yep in this world of super agents Everton still use handshakes. Probably still use an old canon fax machine from 1985 as part of the league sponsorship.
