So much wrong with today. Koeman formation, Barry is done, Davies look average against strong competition, Williams and mori still shaky, Coleman had one of his signature off days.

They are a good side and deserved to win. Let's see how we respond next week.

Barkley motm was everywhere and never gave up or put his head down. Got that second goal assist and he kept at it. Really showed a great attitude today.

We payed Spurs too much respect, if we had started with McCarthy, Mirallas or Lookman instead of Barry it may of been different. Once Spurs got their tails up it was always going to be hard to get something out of it.

All the defenders made too many individual errors. Koeman will be livid.

On the plus side Lukaku, and Barkley played well, and we never gave up.

Well below par today. Defensively we shot ourselves.

Most players were off the pace but I have to say that Koeman didn't do us any favours. Setting out with 5 central midfielders, 4 of which are more defensively minded, was always going to limit our chances. 2 wasted positions for me today...Barry, who's job Morgan can do much better now, and Davies further up and wide.

I get that he maybe wanted to contain Spurs, but then once you see it isn't working, you'd expect him to change it much quicker than he did.

Koeman needs to have more faith that he has us playing better when we focus on our strengths, and getting our balance right.

Got to crack on with the rest of the season now.

The only thing more depressing than our efforts from set pieces is how we set up then switch off when defending against anyone elses.

Against such a strong midfield, why not involve maximum legs? (why Barry?) just seen Kane's second, what a fucking joke. Ghost of clownshoes there.

Still, a tougher away done with, hopefully a specific lesson finally learned.

Robles should have saved the first goal and had a hand in conceding the second. The back four all had poor games but particularly Williams and Mori. The midfield, apart from Barkley were ordinary. Barry should have gone before half-time and Gueye was a shadow of his former self. Lukaku worked hard but didn't win anything in the air. Just shows how far off the pace we are in relation to the top four.

Players never look good when asked to play in a wrong formation. I agree that Koeman got it completely wrong today. He should have had the confidence to stick with a winning combination. Too much dunking around: He tried to be too clever.

No question. Schneiderlin and Gana are machines in midfield, throwing Barry in just put a spanner in the works.
