I see your point but in a back 3 Williams was in the spot where Austin was heading the ball so he had to win the ball. The angle was such that nobody else was going to be able to cover. He's doing his best, which is more than can be said for 90% of those on the field
Newty82
We are in danger of getting a right whacking here. Players are losing their heads. Soton are now flying. 25 mins left. Terrible.

nogs
Palace winning yesterday is ominous for us. I'd put money on Moyes keeping West Ham up, West Brom already better without Pulis. I just don't see any way out of this, too much is wrong to change in January, and I don't have any faith in Moshiri having a clue how to anyway

You seem to speak with a knowledge of the game that few have. I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic? 😁 Played at a decent level in goal but played a bit in every position. Out on pitch I can read the game just not play it very well. There is a communication breakdown between my brain and my feet! A bit like this shower of shit we are watching! We are not doomed yet, we just need a new manager with a footballing plan the team believe in, a couple of center backs, a center forward and a left back. Look at Williams face when he looks at Keane, says it all. Yeah it pissed me off that Williams left his man go and gets angry at someone else for his own mistake. Williams fault 100%. nogs
I hope for Unsworth's sake he's not in charge on Wednesday. He looks utterly defeated, as well he might. What can you do when the players serve up this? Matt

The argument is whether Williams over ran the front post and therefore should have been positioned a yard further back, but I think it was fine. On that break Keane was the front post and Jags was in front of his man, how it should be.

London Blue
Unsworth does not have the confidence of the dressing room, the players do not trust or rate him. No wonder the atmosphere is so toxic. We must get a new manager this week. Sideliner, badaids, Peter H and 2 others 4
