RuffRob
It hard to make an argument to any player why they should come and player for Everton, and its also hard to argue why Everton don't deserve to be relegated. Its as bad as any club has ever been run. the reality of where Everton are at will have hit Dyche like a ton of bricks today.

Romey 1878
Mad how other clubs in relegation trouble have been able to sign players. We had a player do photos, media medical and let him leave the building without signing. stop making excuses for the shit show that is our board. Fosse Captain
Few points make a huge difference to league position, its so tight. Squad isnt terrible (we've def had worse), but its still a long way short and has been for a while. To spend 2 transfer windows identifying target's and decide Maupay was the attacking answer is criminal in itself. Not just the board, but what has Thelwell been doing?? chicagoblue and dunlopp9987

The people who run this club have nothing to hid behind - Today is total and monumental humiliation. If it takes relegation for them to get out, I don't care. I would happily see us go down now, just to see them lose face and millions off the value of their shares, other entity can buy us up for a bargain. We have been humiliated enough as fans. Staying up after this will be them getting away with it. Its one thing not to do business because we are poor and having to wheeler deal - but this is something else. Other clubs around us like Southampton are signing players….. we aren’t can’t we have no leadership, no organisation, we had 6 weeks to get the irons in the fire. If thelwell is being put in handcuffs by the people above he needs to resign.

Absolutely nothing. I'm not following you... what have Maupay and McNeil got to do with it? Why is this window different to previous ones under the same window? Thats a genuine question. I don't why this window has been so much harder than previous ones. We did four deals last January with no money and a bad league position. Two of them (albeit failed ones) signed after Lampard signed at the last minute. Do we have any money? Is Thelwell any good? Are we being very selective rather than throwing good money after bad like last season? Were all our eggs in the Danjuma basket?
