I think our best bet might be trying to get a top player from the Championship and make Simms a loan bargaining chip. if last January is anything to go by it could be slim pickings. Mad for Everton not to go for him. Only leaving as he wants a bugger salary, likely to be 20K! Perfect to compete with Calvert Lewin (likely do a better job) and would be great for the championship to! Our January record is abysmal. 2017 - Lookman and Schneiderlin for 27.5 total 2018 - Tosun and Walcott for 47.5 total. Jesus f***ing christ. also Mangala on loan 2019 - None 2020 - Branthwaite 2021 - Josh King 2022 - Mykolenko, Patterson and Dele for 29 total assuming we never pay for spurs for dele. Use everything we've got, and maybe the loan signings should be the ones we gamble on?? (less risk) How the hell we sign 4 players in 24 hours, when we dither so much, is beyond me!!
