I think given our financial position - at this very moment in time every £1M seem to help. If the £7m is able to be invested in to the bona fida first 15-18 players and make the group who take to the pitch stronger, then I don't mind the sale in these sorts of circumstances.

We also appear to have put our striker progression planning in to Chermiti - and as we stand he physically has the edge over Cannon. 

We seem to have a plan - Everton will play with a big physical No.9 and wingers who get crosses in to the box.  I don't have a problem with is, and does at least show a bit of joined up thinking. Invest money on young big physical strikers and some decent winger and crosses of the ball. but this may come at the expense of letting others go, especially when money is tight.
