Yeah I've never understood the delay between kit and number. It's not a big thing for the club, but massive for fans if they get it wrong. But, it’s also sounds to me like a player has got his eye on another shirt number that’s currently taken. Wouldn’t surprise me if Branthwaite has his eye on 4 when/if Holgate leaves.
