Matt
Pretty sure I remember reading he was on about 40k, which is massive in the SPL, but he's not one of our top earners.
MikeO
It would. Does that mean if didnt happen? We may be poor in several areas admin wise but our contract/transfer negotiations are normally pretty sound I think (Gosling being the notable exception). I don't believe for a minute he's one of our top earners, not even top ten. Off the top of my head I'd put Baines, Jags, Lukaku, Mirallas, Barry, Howard, McCarthy, Deulofeu, Pienaar Gibson, Cleverley and Stones ahead of him. (Personally I wouldn't pay him £40,000 a year, let alone a week)
Finn balor
Always gonna be a crap signing and always going to be on decent wedge because he was near a free transfer. Could see Sunderland, Bournemouth types going for him or a championship club like Derby or boro

MC11
If he's picking up £50,000 plus that's disastrous
Lowensda
Not surprised. Martinez thought he could be one of the best wingers in the world. Then he woke up and bemoaned the horrendous hangover and downer from a drug/drink fueled binge before realising he actually signed him. scouse
I read he was on 1.2 mill a season which is 25k a week which is more realistic

MC11
Problem is he'll have to take a wage cut & I can't see him doing it.
London Blue
He'll have to if he wants to play in the Euro's and put himself on display.
Cornish Steve
Problem is he'll have to take a wage cut & I can't see him doing it. I keep reading that Wayne Rooney would take a humongous wage cut to join Everton. Clearly, money isn't everything. Doing what it takes to continue playing for Ireland, in his case, ought to be a big driver.
Matt
TRIO CHASE MCGEADY Leeds, Blackburn and Spartak Moscow have approached Everton about signing winger Aiden McGeady on loan, according to the Daily Mail. The 29-year-old has struggled to break into the first-team at Goodison Park since joining from Spartak in 2014. Also read that Sheffield Wednesday are interested too

bluenosetoffee
Nobody in the premier league seems to want him. I think he coil do a job in the championship. He needs to play if he wants to play in euros! Plus get his wages off the books

MikeO
Leeds want him on loan according to the Echo. I'll chip in for petrol if someone volunteers to drive him there. Or better still give him a piggy-back and get sponsored for Sport Relief. markjazzbassist
