Shukes
I've always had a problem with injury side of things under Martinez. You can go back to January and see I wasn't impressed then. I think because of this you could be looking into it too much now trying to find faults MC. Even Rm has came out and asked where the myriad of comments are coming from. He has been pretty straight from the start... It's too early to tell at the moment but could be five weeks or could be five months. Until the swelling has gone down and the have analysed it properly they cane tell. What we do know is that we need a replacement in that position now. MikeO
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-city-dropped-ross-barkley-4095928 Ridiculous article. If there's any truth in it (doubtful) then brilliant; we don't want to sell unless you pay daft money, otherwise fuck off. "Ethiad Officials were stunned" were they? Infantile journalism. smulliga
Surely the swelling has now receded to an extent that an updated assessment of his injury can be made, why the silence ? Let's hope this doesn't become an Kone/Oviedo saga of "yes, training really well almost ready" which we have had for the last three months ! Lowensda
Just found out the guy I'd have liked to cover for Ross (Leandro Paredes) has joined Roma on a loan. Gutted.
Romey 1878
What's the betting that now the window has closed, and fans can't expect us to bring a replacement in, that it's confirmed he's out for 5 months? Oh I'm such a cynic . BlueBlood81

Guest blueboy122
I can just imagine it Martinez: ' Ross is out for a lot lot longer than we initially thought he has a very UNIQUE injury'

MC11
Naismith deserves to play on current form. But Barkley is Barkley.
Brett Angel
Naismith could play until he's dead and would never score the Barkley goal against Newcastle and against man city. Barkley on the other hand could score all of Naismiths goals. He's a game changer end of.

Naismith has proved he can do it very regularly, whereas Barkley hasn't (as yet)! Matt

When was the last time you seen Naismith pick it up from deep and run with it.
