I see what you've done here - good wordplay.  But how can you be in another Galaxy AND close to Mars.  Anyone with even the most basic understanding of Astrophysics will understand this is not possible.

We’ll actually… using the folded chocolate of a Flake, he could fold space to instantly be close to Mars faster than the speed of milky bar light!

Anyway I’m off with kids for a chomp on a picnic!

I agree,

Anyhow, back to the thread, I like Dom’s hair when it’s all Curly Wurly, I reckon it gives him a boost, and with the goals he’s going to score he will be a star (bar) and we will be in another galaxy, way way beyond the Milky Way, possibly close to Mars.

Seeing DCL's clothing gave a real boost to my self esteem. I feel as though I can go the game in my D&G clothing without having to keep quiet and wispa.

Plagiarism must give you delight ( anyone guessed I used to work for Cadbury’s many moons ago? )

Anyone think we’re desperate for Saturdays and the game?

Who is the smartie pants who called the result against Southampton?

If you look your see I got the bounty and I’m doing a parade later on an open top double decker. Why do I get involved it’s bound to cause a ripple.

Would love to see the stats for Dom in 1 on 1 situations including last season. He scores a lot of goals, and is a good player for sure but for a main striker he is woeful at 1 on 1’s with the ball at his feet.

As much as it annoyed me yesterday for costing us the three points I have no doubt in my mind that it's something he's working hard at. He's that sort of person and player.

He definitely cost us two points yesterday, a clinical striker would have easily walked away with the match ball

Hard to be too critical of him though because as Romey says we all know he has been putting the hard yards in and has come on leaps and bounds in the past 18 months

If he ever develops that Lukaku like killer instinct he will be one of the best around in world football

Whilst I agree for the most part, you don't develop an instinct from nothing. You can develop what exists, but instinct is something you're born with. His instinct is poaching, and he is at a similar level to Lukakus abilities. He may not be the cleanest striker of the ball, or the most composed one on one, but you'll be hard pushed to find anyone who can read the movement of those him around in a crowd as well as he does, or have the desire to get to the ball first.

Just like we should've done with Lukaku,  we need to play to his strengths more, and it does seem that that's the intention.

Ok I probably worded it badly when I referred to Lukaku’s killer instinct I was talking about his finishing rather than his ability to sniff out chances

DCL has obviously already got the knack of getting himself in the right place at the right time ,it’s just putting them away when he has a chance to think about what he is doing that is the problem and he has the self confidence to not let the misses get to him which is a good sign

Some people , well Haf, wrote off Lukaku when he was here as a youngster and said he wouldn’t develop and look at him now so I certainly haven’t given up an DCL continuing to develop his game
