I dunno, I have injured myself a few times after one too many pints!

I have a nice scar on my back from trying to learn how to do a back flip on my sisters couch after a heavy night. My brother in law did it no problem.
I landed on the solid wood coffee table.
Great memories! It was only a flesh wound. 😂

I've had 13 major breaks/fractures (not including toes) and twice that in torn ligaments and tendons during 15 years of playing football. Since I stopped 8 years ago I've had 2 injuries.

Exercise is not good for my health and whenever people tell me otherwise, I go to my library of x rays and MRI scans...

Safer to be reading, Matt.

I’m not disagreeing with you but can you imagine how Rondon would feel in that situation? Its like Pickford getting injured and putting Coleman in goal ahead of Begovic.

I don't think we should start weaker players out of sympathy.

Chance of being involved on Sunday according to Frank, possibly even starting; I'd prefer him to be on the bench personally.

It'd be silly in the extreme to start him.

There's absolutely no need to rush him into the 11 now it isn't just Rondon or a midfielder as our options for up front.

Other than a few games we’ve got by without DCL for 12 months so a couple more weeks will make no difference

Absolutely agree mate. 15/20 minutes towards the end perhaps, good break for international fixtures and then see how he is.

anyone know why he wasn't in the squad on Sunday?

I'd heard he was supposed to be in then something about complications with his injury or something.

Hopefully whatever the reason it wasn't anything that will hold him back and a couple more weeks training can bring him back fully fit and ready to get going

Lampard decided to give him longer.
