markjazzbassist
I'd like to see some consistency and pull off another win here. Make some ground on man united in the standings. Big Sam is gonna be looking for that first win so we can't take this lightly. Same lineup as man city for me 352 Robles Holgate Williams mori Coleman Davies Barry Barkley Baines Mirallas Lukaku
Keith B
Yep, no changes for me. Next five matches are winnable. So let's win them!

MC11
He'll change the team he always does! Plus we all know what works one games doesn't another and I still see Barry as a liability although he was excellent today a little bit of urgency will bee to much for him! Bailey
Barry works best when we sit deeper and counter, I doubt we will look to do that against Palace.
Palfy
McCarthy for Barry Schneiderlin looked like he needs a bit more match fitness, so wouldn't start with him but you could see when gets his game back together he's gonna be awesome. Palfy
Hope he doesn't change the set up we should be going to Palace saying this is how we're set you try and stop us if you can, we don't fear you so we won't change to suit you. Matt
Barry works best when we sit deeper and counter, I doubt we will look to do that against Palace. Agreed. I reckon we'll see Schneiderlin stepping in: Joel Coleman Williams Mori Baines Schneiderlin Davies Valencia Barkley Mirallas Lukaku not what I want to see, but what I expect. markjazzbassist
fat sam has bought schlupp, about to confirm Jenkinson. Honestly the only decent players they have are Benteke, Zaha, and Dann. I used to think Cabaye was good but he has been terrible since coming back to the Prem. I hope we smash them. Paddock
I'm dreading this. I hate us playing against teams looking to break a duck or bad run.
markjazzbassist
Zaha's at the AFCON anyway isn't he? You're right he's gone to Gabon. Well I think it will be full Hoof up to Benteke then.

Newty82
The crash back to earth is going to be ferocious isn't it? The thing I'll be looking at is the players mentality. We've seen this before, when there is little to no expectation pre game (vs Arsenal, vs City), they turn up and smash it. Afterwards, when the fans are back to expecting the same again, they've been shown to crumble. Will be interesting to see how they play and how Koeman lines them up. London Blue
In the recent past I would agree we would do the hard job then stuff up the easier match. Most of the players know they are playing for their future, which should be a motivating factor. Hopefully Koeman has installed some mental toughness and we can turn them over. I believe we have and the squad is now starting to play and think the way he wants, this will be a good test. dlblue

dlblue
This is a game we must win, Palace look dreadful at the moment. Zaha is at Afcon, which leaves Benteke upfront with little service. Shy_Talk
Blood and thunder this. Always been the fat head sam way, if you can't win and are struggling anyway start kicking out. They are a big enough side too, not quite the massive bolton side he used to crush teams with but certainly a throw back. Cornish Steve
Palace has (the singular form for Pad's benefit ) been a bit of a bogey team. I remember vividly Martinez's first season, when I was counting down the points between us and Arsenal. We almost made caught them, but it was the game against Palace that was our undoing and brought a shattering end to hope. Still, supposed bogey teams are mostly superstition (except for the unconscious affects on players' minds), so I would expect a win. Palace is indeed is a dreadful state. I blame the weather for that one. If we'd played them when it was originally supposed to have been played I bet we'd have won that game. Elston Gunnn
Baines may be out? http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2017/01/19/boss-confident-baines-will-be-fit If so, and if Koeman goes for 343, I'll hope Oviedo gets a start at wingback. What are the other options? Schneiderlin or McCarthy?
