I know its not a great look to bag the ref after the game but there was a few instances where Friend was positioned directly to the side of our player with the ball almost blocking the switch of play. Fornals studded Bernard. No yellow. Played on when we had nothing on. Potentially should have still gave the free kick. But definitely should have gave the yellow. One on Richarlison towards the end. Calls him over, think it was Coufal, still didn't give a yellow. Antonio should have had one not long after coming on. Benrahma kicked the ball away as well without getting one. Looked strong, had an air of aggression about him and hit his passes with conviction. Much better and he played well in the last match, needs to build on it. FairWooney Posted January 4, 2021 Report Share Posted January 4, 2021 Agree with Gomes voters that he looked very good when he came on. But i've gone Doucoure, the last few games without Allan I've noticed him a lot more. He's making brilliant challenges to win the ball in dangerous positions then you see him up the other end looking to make something or get a chance at goal.
