StevO
I know we would move this to general sports now he’s gone, but can we leave it here a bit longer please @MikeO @Matt @Romey 1878 because I want to enjoy knowing that this cunt isn’t the Everton manager anymore. This thread is a nice reminder. Bailey and Newty82

Popular Post Zoo 2.0
Made up with that statement too, no thanks for hard work etc (because his tenure has been fucking diabolical). It just makes my blood boil how the DOF and Medical team has been ripped up for this clown, not to mention the sale of Lucas Digne only for him to be sacked anyway. It shouldn't stop here, to kill a snake you need to take off the head. The absolute idiots in power at this club (Moshiri & Kenwright) shouldn't be anywhere near the decision to hire a new manager, or the club in general. Our club is still a massive circus, it's just that one of the performing monkeys has been sent packing in what is a troupe of shite. StevO
The statement saying an announcement of a permanent replacement in due course? So maybe not going for a caretaker manager. Could they really have someone lined up already?

Bailey
Is it not just a throw away line at the end of the statement? I am not sure we should read too much into it.

The players have had about 5 managers sacked…… they can’t just be unlucky - the reality is we are riddled with a disgusting attitude amongst the players…. Not all but certainly enough to upset the apple cart consistently. I think Rafa as divisive, stubborn and arrogant as he has been could tell some stories. there is a massive massive job to do, this bunch of players are a fuckin disgrace Don’t kid ourselves it’s just the players as many of them have also changed during the last 6 managers! Zoo 2.0
Personally, I think that the club haven't even started to speak with other managers and haven't got a plan for a caretaker either. Moshiri clearly backed Benitez, so much so that he was publically praised for his work and allowed him to make changes (as recent as the sale of Digne). I think that Moshiri has, as he always does, jumped from idea to idea and decided that it's time for Benitez to go, regardless of what others around him think. For what it's worth, I think we will get Rooney. But I don't think so much as a phonecall has been made to anyone, unless it's Kenwright having casual chats. Moshiri, stadium aside (and again, that's a massive plus for him), has been a disaster and was always going to be. Its not managers or players taking us down, it's the lunatic running the asylum. plaidharper, Newty82, StevO and 1 other
