Tom Cleverley

Anyone else care that his shirt number is substantially less than their age?

It doesn't seem that long ago I was watching football with my dad as a kid.

Then I was watching it with my dad as a teenager and then as adults together in a pub.

Now I watch it with my kids ( when my youngest will stop watching Dora)

There are times when I still manage to make it under a shirt number. Watched a youth game a while back in which one player sported the number 99.

Here's my prediction:- by December Everton fans will have a song about Tom that is complimentary.

Well I'm still waiting for "Heads, shoulders, knees, John Stones" to catch on. Got it going away at Sunderland 2 seasons ago (after a lot of beer) but nothing since!!!

"We're on the march with Bobbys army and we all love Tom Cleverley, and he'll really shake them up when he lifts the FA cup cos cleverley is the best we've ever seen!"

Something along those lines. Gonna copy write it.

The Talk's turned fair palaverly

On the nous of young Tom Cleverly.

There once was a Toffee lass, Beverly

Floating about in some reverie

But the smile on her face

Could be easily traced

To the Goodison swoon over Cleverly.

Hmm, needs work maybe.

What rhymes with Day-oo-low-FAY-oo?
