markjazzbassist
Robben has admitted that he took a dive looking for a penalty...in the first half. Glad Costa Rica held on, but I have to wonder how much they'll have left in the tank for the Dutch after that marathon. costa rica won't be able to beat the refs and robben the flopping fish. he's a disgrace. Cornish Steve
FIFA may take retroactive action. Do you think there's any possibility that Robben will be barred from playing against CR? Matt and Sibdane

Hafnia
strange move by Robben to admit that he took a dive - part of me admires that. Lets be honest, Suarez can't admit he bit Chiellini and its insulting. Matt

Popular Post johnh
arjen robben the flopping fish diver. first flop was indeed a flop, he tripped, got halfway up and dove on the ground. ref looked and didn't give him anything (should have carded him for simulation). second time he actually got fouled but the ref didn't give the call (now he and the ref are even). last one was so little contact and he did a swan dive like he was an olympian swimmer. maybe his punishment for being such a cheat is the fact God made him look like a retired 59 year old man at age 29. can't stand the man, don't care if he's talented. Oi! I'm 78 and don't look as old as Robben. Matt, Sibdane, Lowensda and 2 others

Bailey
If the Nigerians had created more of a scene (like other countries do for far less) then he may well have been sent off. It was a shocker and he has had a surprisingly poor game. This is an interesting game. Nigeria are poor, especially in the final third but they keep hold of the ball pretty well. France are sitting deep and looking to counter, which they do pretty well.
StevO
Is Valbuena a dwarf? I don't mean like he's little, I thinks he's bigger than Arshavin, but his body shape looks like a dwarf. It's very weird, Wilshire is similar but no where near as much as Valbuena. For the record, I have no problem with little people, or French people, well maybe French, before I offend anyone. He just looks weird.

Bailey
Matuidi is really disappointing in this game... He doesnt even want the ball, not doing his defensive work properly and he has become a passenger. He has been a player I have always quite liked but Pogba is showing him up with his energy and drive. Only one of them two wants to win this game and it looks like he probably just has! Bailey
shouldnt be on the pitch either. Harsh on Nigeria in my opinion Nigeria have no quality though. They are all pace and power but no finesse and the French found them out in the end.

Bailey
This should be an intertesting contest between Algeria and Germany... Germany will keep hold of possession for large parts but Algeria will hit them on the break. Algeria were pretty good on the counter against Korea (or whoever they played last time) and they have the pace to get in behind Mertesacker. Boateng also isnt the best under pressure. Algeria do have a chance but I suspect the quality of the German squad will find a way through eventually. It will be interesting to see how Mustafi does. MikeO
Only one team looking likely to score at the moment but you suspect Algeria will have to take the advantage while they can or the Germans will wear them down.
Matt
Germans look really rattled. If Algeria had pulled it back on those 2 occasions, they'd be 2 up.
