No that isn't what I said at all. Buying the wrong players has led us to this position and buying more of them wont help. Surely you can see that? I'd love the club to buy lots of the right players in the right positions as soon as possible. Matt, MikeO, Shukes and 3 others

Listened to the toffeetv phone in last night. Ped let on a fair bit as to how he experienced the club. He said the board are agitated by him, he is aware of it and finds it bemusing why a potentially billion pound business is irritated by a YouTuber. He said he hated the club when he started out because the way he was treated by people who are still there. Alan myers was a valuable person and he was gutted when he went. He said journos are now cottoned on to the same thing. Romey 1878

Hafnia
Lots of stories circulating that kenwright blocked a move for arnautovic, was approved by moshiri but kenwright blocked it. if true then I’m pissed off big time. Yeah he probably would have wanted £100k a week plus and is 33 but we knew we were in no position to not bring someone like him in. a physical freak who would be brilliant at the dcl role. Reports I have seen say £150k a week all because Mohsiri promised a striker. Not sure how true it is given source although giving that type of money (highest earner) to an average 33yo, albeit one who is still scoring in Italy (much easier than PL) is exactly the type of deal we shouldnt be doing. This is more about Mohsiri's ego if its true, albeit I also doubt he could stop the deal, especially if the playing side of the club wanted the player. Bailey
Also just to add Arnautivich scored 6 goals in the first 6 games, 2 since September and from Jan to Feb he missed 6 games throigh injury. This is the same league that Lookman has scored 12 goals in this season. He is the type of player you take a punt on if he is cheap, you don't make him anywhere near your top earner for 2 1/2 years. That may be true but when you have you only proven front man almost permanently injured in a very depressed strikers market you need to ask “how much will he cost vs relegation” he would be very good for us in dyche set up. I’m not even looking at him being a goal scorer, he would enable us to play the way we did against arsenal. Matt and StevO

I agree and if this was a player that was fit and could guarantee goals, I would agree with you. There is always a balance. I am certainly not convinced that his level of performance would be much higher than we saw from Maupay at the weekend given his age and how he has been playing China and then in a very different, and much slower and less physical league in Italy.
