I'd say it's entirely to do with seeing what a shit show the club has become and jumping ship.

Was he on the hook for getting him to sign the papers?

He's not moving to United because he fucked up and we're unhappy with him.

I just think we need as many things to go for us as possible.  We know that winning and losing is infectious so we want the teams around us to lose despite it being in our own hands.

there will be some twists and turns along the way. Not sure how Man City never beat forest 4-0 there yesterday…. Forest spawned a very unlikely point.

wolves have a tough run coming up.

The second season in a row now that we are plotting how to beat the drop, supporting Everton is like watching WW2 prisoner of war film, where they are constantly planning how to escape.
In the next episode of escape from Goodison we face the enemy called Aston Villa, the planning of how we dig are way out of this one as already begun.

The fans need to keep this unified pressure on the board to stay away, to have our voices heard and to once and for all show zero tolerance to shite management.

This disaster has been years in the making. The culture of the organisation is rotten and has been for quite some time. If it wasn’t for the fact that increased tv money diluted the debts that we got saddled with then I think we would have been gone years ago.

I read or listened to a piece somewhere saying that kenwright more or less did a leveraged buyout. That the other operating costs were to repay the loan to buy the shares for the club. The more I think about it - the more it makes sense.

Anyone watching that match knows that our players stick up for themselves for once.
McNeil was pissed off at the way that free kick was brought, then pretty much got threw over the barriers.
Doucs was kicked by their keeper… who got away with it, not even shown on highlights…. And he was fuming.

We’re starting to see a little toughness coming in… a little overzealous at the minute, but not just rolling over and having our bellies tickled.

Wasn't sure exactly where to put this thought but here it goes. Spent a lot of time recently thinking about Goodison. Obviously no one wants to see us relegated it very well could lead to a disaster we can't even fathom. That said and considering how special the Old Lady is, I wonder if her last dance is meant to save us from oblivion. In other words she's largely responsible for getting us promoted back immediately and transform our fortunes as we enter the new stadium and premier league again with solid finances and hopefully, by then, a functional board. Again in no way am I suggesting I want to see this happen and I'm not a religious man at all but sometimes sport seems to have this feel of destiny about it and I'm thinking this might be hers.

Her last season being in the Championship would do her a disservice, it'd be a disgraceful way to go out.

They'll make an example out of us, I'm sure.

Couldn't do a thing when the snake 6 tried to destroy the football pyramid, but you can bet they'll find their bollocks now.

Exactly this.  Coming after Everton yet City and.Chelsea taking the piss.

Doesn't make for good reading. Regardless of what other teams may or may not of done 2 wrongs don't make a right, and our owner and his board are responsible for making sure Everton operate with in the rules, I fear that there poor leadership has well and truly fucked us over this time, I pray 🙏 I'm wrong but poor leadership will always catch up with you in the end.

I can only think that we went over agreed spending this season, given the premier league were happy with what we were doing last season.

The club are adamant we did not so somebody is wrong.

Can't say I have any confidence in anything the board says, so it's probably us - somebody not reading the rules properly.

It's from the 21/22 season not this season.

Any points deduction this season if that is to be the penalty if found guilty will condemn us to relegation, I don't think they would have the balls to do that so late in this season, so maybe at worst a fine or a summer transfer ban similar to Chelsea. Or they could give a point's deduction to start beginning of next season, either way another worrying period to add to the list. Makes you wonder if our fortunes will ever change under our current ownership. Pretty gutted with our lot at the moment.

No chance any punishment if found guilty could be applied this season as we just appeal etc and that will go on and on.

I think a fine is likely, maybe a transfer ban.

Of course they're adamant. It looks bad to investors, it looks bad to fans, it looks bad all round.

I was thinking this, would be so Everton to get safe then suffer a points deduction

True but Moshiri's background is finance and we have been co-operating so something is off.

We know what the rules were and how much money we had to spend, the nail biting moment last season after clubs complained were eased when the Premier league said we were on a tight leash and compliant, so what changed?

Sky Sports saying this will take months so any result may well not affect this season.

West Ham are hoping that we get a points deduction to help their shit season, they've even said that even if we don't get a points deduction they want the threat of a points deduction to get into the heads of the management and players. What them cunts need to do is to try staying up on their own merit instead of looking at others misfortunes as their best chance of beating relegation. I understand it's a dog eat dog world but to make them feelings known just shows what classless wankers they are.

We may find Moshiri has been saying one thing and doing another, people of his ilk who are very successful in their field have a tendency to think they are better than most and know how to pull the wool over people's eyes, not all are like that granted but our luck will be Moshiri is one of them.
