It smacks of watching Stoke and Newcastle operating a few years back just throwing darts and getting any old player that they can. - and the Sunderland of old of course. This all just points to the fact that Davie has been away from the game a little too long. He used to be on the ball with transfer targets and bargains/loans - seems to be a fair bit lost. So basically it all needs completing by 1am. That was the reason Fellaini only got announced the day after the window shut.
