If he did I'm thinking it was for comedy value rather than arrogance, it was all very low key and meaningless the whole thing (as far as I've read). I don't believe Everton had training today either. Seriously people need to get a life - if he is consistently underperforming in training due to being hungover or going out on the town the night before matches, it'd be an issue. Otherwise, he's enjoying his 20's like most of the Twitter critics did/do. Zoo 2.0

Hafnia
I think some balance needs to be put on the pickford at the darts mularky ... Pissed up standing on a table giving it Jordan pickford chants among 100s of pissed up onlookers vs going out for a few beers in a quieter scenario. 1. He's asking for trouble. Wrong place, wrong actions probably putting himself at risk of getting into shit let alone injury dancing on a table. 2. He's had shit going out on the lash in a similarly rowdy place attracting the wrong attention before. Yes, he's 25, he's not got a game or training for another day. I get it..... If I was a pro footballer and was given downtime it wouldn't be doing that. There's the balance. MikeO

He just seems to make bad choices - very immature. MikeO

Finn balor
I get what you mean haf but maybe the opposite is true? He could be holed up like Conor mcgregor was in an council crack den. That got caught on social media. Pickfords having a night out in a place he knows there will be footage of him. That might be his chrimbo night out? That might have been his third pint and he’s leathered. Just think we are too quick to judge

StevO
He’s on a chair for a few seconds playing up to the crowd, in a room that is full of security. The security will also know who he is and will make sure he comes to no harm, the last thing Barry Hearn wants is a tabloid issue after England’s number one was beaten up at his major event. Absolutely no harm done at all. Bailey, Romey 1878, Matt and 1 other

markjazzbassist
people do that over darts? Here in America its considered an activity you can do at a bar, not a sport.
Palfy
He’s not going to get beaten up at the darts, I’ve been a couple of times and never once seen any trouble very much the opposite it’s a great party atmosphere. And he’s been swept away by the atmosphere and having some fun no harm done, some need to try it sometime I highly recommend it. Here in America its considered an activity you can do at a bar, not a sport. The guys who run darts (Barry Heard and his son Eddie) have made it a really fun event to go to. It’s like going to a party but there is a darts competition going on in front of you. I twice dressed up as a Storm Trooper and escorted John Part to the stage and once in a Hawaiian shirt and flowers escorting Wayne Mardle, both times (the Hawaiian and storm trooper were the same night) at the echo. My mates girlfriend was a producer for Sky Sports and asked him to bring a load of us. When we got to the arena they had a big dressing room just for us, it had a few crates of Carling and loads of Walkers crisps. They asked if any of us wanted to have a spray tan before we went out, but none of us took up the offer. After we had finished we had seats right at the side of the stage with the Sky staff, it was loads of fun. Don’t have a clue about darts, love free drinks. pete0, nogs, Palfy and 1 other
Gwlad
He made three important saves yesterday and most professionals respect requirements for their fitness so he should be allowed a night out as we don't have a match till Thursday.
