It’s my understanding (may be wrong) that you have 25 spaces to register but you can still register free agents beyond the January deadline… I know he’s not a free agent but similar idea - if we’ve not got 25 registered. I doubt it though and doubt Lampard would want to anyway seeing as he won’t have even met him. Maybe he’ll get a few games with the U23s though. My guess is we think it'll be better to showcase him there and tempt a French side into taking him permanently in the summer. Always felt like he would be better in midfield. Only 22. Unsure if he has a future at Everton but always good to see someone's future looking brighter than before.
