Yeah, looked like the guy must have said something particularly offensive. Immediate thought went to it being something racist. If it was, hopefully they're caught and banned. Good on the other supporters who seperated them and protected Viera away. Sibdane

Popular Post Romey 1878
I've managed to keep the faith with this squad all along, even while we've been getting written off for months. Pundits, the media, even some of our own fans had us relegated a long time ago. But even I started to doubt it at 2-0 down at half-time. I felt like I had nothing left to give and just sat there not saying a word to anyone, looking around the Grand Old Lady. I let myself contemplate what it was going to feel like to be relegated, how much it was going to hurt, and just where the fuck we'd go from there... Soon as the players ran out for the second half though I was right back on it. And once we got that first goal back the atmosphere was fucking electric again. Kendall was right - the Gwaldys Street End will suck the ball into the net and that's what we did. It just built and built and built until there was no stopping us. When that third goal went in... I can't explain the emotion that exploded out of me. Just pure, unadulterated joy. I'm a very proud blue right now. Popular Post duncanmckenzieismagic
I was there in the 80’s home and away when we were winning everything and I always said the happiest moment in my life was when Barry Horne scored to keep us up against Wimbledon but I think tonight has just topped it Ita hard to explain but there is so much more emotion involved in surviving than winning trophies Newty82, London Blue, Heath and 6 others

barryj
Just got home. Couldn’t help myself but spend an hour or so in the pub post game sucking up the celebration and energy. Where do I start? I’m not going to dissect the game but to say what an experience and it was everything I love and hate with Everton in one game, but I wouldn’t change it for the world! Heath
It would be just like Everton to get 4pts deducted for failing to control the fans. Seriously though, what a night, what a result. Newty82

Formby
A night to remember and savour, one to tell the grandkids. Everyone bar Gomez played their part. A nod to Gray, too, who has been out of favour recently, but whose jinking run helped set up the second, and whose pinpoint cross set up the third. Let's use this to kick on next season, club identity fully restored. dunlopp9987

He looked like he knew he's played badly and was on his way. - A real glimpse of the terrible state of Cenk's hair. dunlopp9987

Sir McGiven
What a season it has been... Phew! It's been 2 days, I wasn't able to watch the game but did watch the entire game on record, same night. Thrilled with the comeback and glad we dodged relegation. Damn! I hope this teaches the club something, and I mean the board and management. Because I don't think there will be "next time" before hitting the rock bottom, this was the last exit IMO. The only positive thing about this season was Gordon for me. I hope he continues his development, he has a star vibe. Well done, Blues!
