Stopped attacked non stop. Started a few attacks and was so close to getting his goal. 
This guy is going to be a rock for us.

Patterson - if only he could have finished that chance to top it off!!! I thought McNeil supported him well.

Special mention to Iwobi and Onana - add Gueye and that is a very good 3 with Doucoure and hopefully one more to come in as back-up. We looked much happier in a 4-3-3.

If we'd have had a striker in that forward 3 I think we look a lot better. Gray tried his hardest up there but he's never going to hold the ball up so the other two can support, and the midfield catch up with play.

I went with Gordon, but could have been Patterson. I’ve got to say though, the first half Iwobi was ridiculously good.

Onana and Patterson are making errors but you can see they are going to be really quality players. Went with Gordon today for his energy, competitiveness and a well taken goal.

Went for Tarkowski. Didn't put a foot wrong. Shouted orders all game long and we never really looked in danger at corners (for a change!)

We lost the game today because the players got nervous and sat back instead of pressing in the second half.

The midfield and forward line need to take responsibility for that.

Patterson, I think he’s a great athlete with an outstanding attitude.  Onana already looks at the level fellaini was when he left.

Except for that time he legitimately put a foot wrong and was bailed out by Pickford's great save on Gelhardt

Went for Gordon, not just for the goal, but for being the threat throughout the game, for his non stop running and his passion. In truth everyone was full of passion, running and effort. Could easily of been Coady, Tark, Patterson, Iwobi, Onana, Grey or Davies, they all played a part in our performance.

Wish Frank had made a few subs, our midfield and attackers looked absolutely fucked after 75 - 80 minutes.

Not sure he has much trust in Gomes or Allan in all honesty.

Went for Patterson. Has taken his change ahead of an injured Coleman. Should only get better now he is in the team.

I know some are not happy with McNeil, but Lampard is giving him and Patterson time on the pitch together and think there partnership is something that will develop.

Think he may have brought them on if deadline day wasn’t so close - I expect both (and Rondon) are for sale and Lampard wouldn’t have wanted to risk injury/ they may play with moves in mind.
