London Blue
With players like Tom Davies and others showing so much potential we must develop them and give them the game time they need. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/everton-youngster-tom-davies-shows-11537403 I could be there till the end of time and still not do that! captainbeaker
He's sensibly taking his time, assessing what he's got and making sure he gets the right players in. Hopefully it will be quality over quantity.

MC11
The way the market is at the moment this £100m "war chest" won't be going far. Ighalo £37.5m rejected! My word!
Newty82
The way the market is at the moment this £100m "war chest" won't be going far. Ighalo £37.5m rejected! My word! Exactly. Been saying this for a while. When you see £20mill turned down for players like Troy Deeney...you know prices are going to sky rocket. Everyone has more money (TV Deal!)...so prices only go up. If the £100 million turns out to be on top of any budget we might have had post TV deal, then fair enough. But that amount on its own is starting to look a bit standard judging by the way prices are going.

Shukes
Ignore player prices...they are pretty irrelevant. It's players wages that count. This is where we will be measured and also the standard of players that will join.

EFC-Paul
Apparently came in with another offer of £45m.... bonkers even more so they didn't snap their hands off! Finn balor
What's going on? Deeney for £25 and this clown for nearly forty? Think we need to rethink our values on players

Shukes
Erm, no?! Higher the quality of player = Higher transfer fee = Higher wage. I think it's all relevant. I mean that players prices will rise ridiculously. Players wages will be what tempts the higher players to a club and shows intent. Palace can buy a player for 40m But they can't pay a player 100k. Btay
This is maybe why we shouldn't sell Rom. If he is 60 mil, And Ighalo is 45 there's no value in the market to replace him... MikeO
