Keane or Mina... gutted for them as they put in such a shift again for Pickford to do that.

Thought Gomes was very good in patches - seemed more aggressive and used his size. Davies too but we lacked any control without Doucoure and/or Allan.

Digne and James - goes without saying, they are just top class every game.

Leicester are a brilliant side away from home, pace, movement, running and pressure. To get a point out of them with a side missing key players and with a few players just returning to match fitness is a good result.

It is galling that we came to close to taking 3 points off them, and but for a goal keeping howler we could have. Our shape was good and defensively we were strong, although the pressure from them was immense and we were being pushed further back.

All 4 defenders were great, Davies and Gomes were strong and James is James, just amazing. My MOTM is Mina, as he was so solid in defence and tried to take the ball forward, but could easily of been any of the above.

If we beat Newcastle then it is a good point. I believe we will beat Newcastle.

Godfrey for me. What a solid player he is turning out to be. Up against real pace tonight and showed he has the tools to deal with it.

Keane was a close second. He was dominant and needed to be. Goal saving tackles, strong headers and vocal to. There is always a marked difference in our defence when he’s on the pitch.

I can see him wearing an armband soon enough.

The defense performed brilliantly and Keane and Mina especially stood out for me this game.

However I was really impressed with Gomes yesterday, he put in a real shift and in a game where we struggled to get forward he kept trying to drive us forward in the second half.  Showed a lot of strength and fight to try to take us forward.  Though his tacking is often pretty poor he was getting stuck in (more tackles than anyone on the pitch)

Also played some quality long passes forward.

James as well from an attacking stand point did a good job, looking much more up for the fight and keen to make things happen again now.  Lovely finish especially on his right foot.

I think James put himself about a bit more in this game, maybe he's getting up to speed for the prem.

Keane and Mina get a mention, as does Godfrey, what a player this lad is turning out to be, I'm impressed evey time I see him I don't think he's had a bad game yet.

James just got my vote ahead of Godfrey.
