Popular Post Romey 1878
He's deserved a lot of praise this season but today was entirely on him and I hope it doesn't impact us going forward. I make no secret of the fact that I fucking despise the 3/5 at the back but do you know what I thought lets give it a chance because it worked against Burnley, and I can understand wanting to match up with Wolves. However, it was obvious after 10 minutes of the game that that formation was not going to work today. So to still be playing the same formation and players with over an hour of the game gone and us 3-0 down... fucking diabolical and Dyche is responsible for it and I hope he takes that responsibility. At worst he should have been making changes at half time but I'd have done it during the first half. I don't give a shit if you hurt the feelings of a player by subbing them during the first half, picking up points is paramount. He and the players need to shake this off and sort it out, and fast. He was quite right about Lampard (hence my profile pic). He’s doing a great job. However today he got that completely wrong. Formation and tactics poor! Also too slow to change it. Overall I like him! StevO, dunlopp9987, plaidharper and 4 others
Popular Post RuffRob
Dyche himself will be disappointed with Wolves results and performances and I am sure he will be as critical of himself as he will be of any of the individual player performances. He rightly put the Wolves performance in the same bracket as the Villa performance - so he's not glossing over it with any kind of bullshit. The Villa game was at the end of August and over 20 games ago. A notibley poor performance every 20games or so it pretty good going considering the past two seasons, over which time we struggles to put more than one good performance in every 20 games!! Our expectcation have now very much changed under Dyche. Newty82, Romey 1878, Wall Writer and 5 others
Palfy
Dyche is holding a live news conference today at 1:30pm is this just related to the game against Palace, or is there something else going on? Seems strange to me that it’s being flashed up constantly on Sky sports news, never seen that before on any other game in the past. Just seen it looks like it is going to be about Palace game, so no other news is good news I suppose. Edited January 3 by Palfy

Slow sports news day so they’ll have the same stories on loop… Dyche, darts and transfer window - repeat. Matt and Palfy 1

Hafnia
Dyche has been very very settling for me in recent times. A very stoic manager. Yeah he's not perfect but he's exactly what we need right now StevO, Gwlad and Matt
Matt
I'm hoping if it does go through we have a banner for Dyche in support of him. Not just for what he's done so far but can you imagine the fucking lunatic who'd agree to work with us and 777 after all this?! dunlopp9987, London Blue, StevO and 1 other 1

Can you imagine during the exciting early days of the Moshiri era, when buying players left right and centre for crazy money, the best thing to happen to the club the best part of a decade later would be Sean Dyche just being fucking normal? I hope our new owners realise that. He needs to be the man in charge for at least the first few years in Bramley-Moore. Davide Ancelotti stated that Kenwright sat in on discussions on player selections and made his advice known. John Ebbrell himself said that when Koeman was in charge moshiri and kenwright picked a player each. moshiri was allowed to play footy manager cos other people wanted to play too. its too easy to point the finger at Moshiri, people needed to manage him and if they couldn't then they resign. Hafnia
Whilst he has been stoic and I like his calm ways.... he needs to improve tactically. This theme ain't going away for me. like I've said, we need to be talent spotting managers - not cos he needs firing but we need to identify who is better. Personally I think he’s done as well as anyone could have given the cards he’s been dealt, now it’s down to the players to turn it around those who want him to stay should be given their all. Shows the level of trust he has in the squad players, or lack of. Some of them lads must really show fuck all in training to barely get on the pitch, by some of, I mean Danjuma. Pretty much no one else even on the bench apart from Keane and Godfrey, don’t want to see them get a chance. Matt
